Second year in the league and JB posted those OG stats but in playoffs.31to6 wrote:Stan34 wrote:We are the better offense in the league and people complaining about Jaylen.
Team will be better with OG? Be careful what you wish for.
It is almost useless to argue with some of you

OG's really solid though. 18p/6r/2a/2s/1b (to Jaylen's 27p/7r/3a/1s/0.5b), decent shooter, leading the league in steals, and has room to grow.
But here's a surprise, perhaps: he has a 13% TOV compared to Jaylen's 12%

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/brownja02.html
WS/48 of 0.08 to Jaylen's 0.11
BPM of 0.3 to Jaylen's 1.5
TS% of 0.57 to Jaylen's 0.59
VORP of 0.8 to Jaylen's 1.2
So OG + Precious + 3 firsts for Jaylen? Maybe, if we were rebuilding.
But we ain't. Ride or die
Ok, some of you dont like Brown but most of you see only JB weaknesses and cancel in their mind his strengths.
We are talking about a 27 point scorer with 7 R at 50% shooting from the field and 80% from the line.
Player is a ball hog if he takes 20 shots per game and shoot 40%. But JB is elite putting the ball in the baskets even with that usage.
Someone talk about Sabonis. Yes a good great player, Horford type. But he is a RS player. He cant play D and dont stretch the floor. Sacto is a perfect place for him.
It's not casual that Sabonis playes there and Jaylen playes for the Celtics. The best team in the league and he is one of the reason why...
Most of you tend to forget that real players are made for playoffs. And Jaylen is one of the best in that category.
