Yeah man. You've been all about Walsh for a long time. You must be pumped :)

I just loved the whole night, lol. Other than the Nets being jerks.... But, was perfect by Brad, imo.

I can't wait to see how he looks in summer league.

He's by far the BPA.

Maybe Brad Stevens can get the 48th pick from the Clippers. Things usually go pretty well dealing with the Clippers

Only to then tell them we have injury concerns about the 48th pick and deal is off!

I hope Porter Jr goes undrafted and we get him on our SL squad. He's worth a look.

FWIW, I had Walsh ranked higher on my board (and we took him 38th) than Jaquez (who miami took 18th)

Boom.

Why? the summer league has proven to be very deceptive...PP looked like an Allstar when he played there

Okay guys let's not put that on Walsh I know we're just having fun.

But Smart was a projected top 10 pick who went back to school, and the next year was still at top 10 pick that we picked there.

Walsh was pick #38, much more like another no offense all defense SF we picked about 20 years ago at #40 in Justin Reed.

Leave Walsh alone and be happy if he plays more than a few minutes here and there this year.

Don't put expectations on a second rounder lol. It's unfair to him more than anything else and it'll just lead to frustration for you.

If Brad really likes someone I’m sure he could buy the 50th pick from OKC. OKC has 100 picks

Just something to keep in mind with regards to evaluating these prospects as shooters.

-The average 3 pt % among the players in this draft class this past season = 31%
-Does that mean this is a horrible shooting class? Not necessarily. IMO, it's just because most of these guys are only like 18-20 yrs old. They're earlier on in their development.

No one is saying Walsh is gonna be as good as Marcus Smart.

I think that all people are saying is that the way Walsh plays with such a reckless, no holds barred, lay his body on the line, run through a wall, a guy who hustles - just in that aspect, he is kind of like Smart.

And getting a guy like that is a plus, since we just traded Smart.

I think that's all anyone is saying. Nothing more, nothing less.

He could see the floor some this year, pending other moves. Hauser as backup wing when you need scoring. Walsh, when, you know, you don't. :)

So, let me see if I have this right. We trade Smart, Gallo, Muscala and the 35th pick for Porzingis, Jordan Walsh, a 2024 1st round top 4 protected pick from GS, and 4 future 2nd round picks. Is this correct?

Its getting too late at night haha. They should have started this an hour or 2 earlier.

Or do round 1 on one night and round 2 the next night.

Walsh was 46 ranked and ugly stat line but I don't care enough about it I wanted a 6'7 minimum shot blocker. We at least added future player control for spots 12 through 18 I think this regime have forgot about mader and bagarin so I'm lumping into the tpe stuff. So as of now we have white, brown, Tatum timelord,og unicorn starting with horford, pp, hurt Brogdon, garbage Kornet, walsh, JD
Brown's #1 fan on this forum.

My BPA (UDFA watch)

Terquavion Smith
Vincent Valerio-Bodon
Chris Livingston
Ricky Council IV
Toumani Camara
Nikos Rogkavopoulos
Tosan Evbuomwan
Jalen Slawson

Remember, we have three 2-way slots to fill now. Kabengele can't be on a 2-way again, and JD might get a standard contract..
