Happy Draft Days, Citizens!

The Celtics back stories of the day:

- Can the Celtics move up into the Top 10 to select Kasparis Jakucionis, the one player we've learned that they are targeting in the Draft ( there are obviously others, but the Celtics Front Office is tight-lipped as usual?)

- Will Hauser be traded during the Draft?

- Is Jaylen Brown or White heading out today?

In no particular order with the 28th and 32nd pick I'd be happy with:

Broome, Wolf, Raynaud, Proctor, Small

Wishful thinking in no particular order:

Sorber, Clifford, Richardson, Newell

How high is Adou Thiero's vertical?

I feel like taking Proctor, Broome, and Small with the 28th pick is reaching. Maybe not Broome. Small and Proctor will most likely be available in the second round. For those projected to go where the Celtics pick, Raynaud is the big man I think who would be the best fit for the Celtics.

Draft day!!!

Always loved the NBA draft going back to being a kid. Man I thought Todd Day was going to be great.

We don't know..he didn't do any athletic testing at the combine, because he's injured.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Even injured, I can guarantee it's more than Tillman's and John Broome, which was a lofty 28 inches.

I really think the Celtics should take a chance on Yang, whom I could see developing into a middle class Jokic in time. I said Middle Class.

I have really no feelings toward picks 28 and 32, so the vibes tell me they could be traded. Along with Hauser possibly?

Givony Final Mock Draft
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/45559441/2025-nba-mock-draft-latest-first-second-round-predictions-all-59-picks

Celtics take Maxime Raynaud & Drake Powell

Listening to draft media, Raynaud has maybe *the* largest grade variance of anyone in the draft. Some have him in the 14-20 range and some have him in the 40s. The biggest knocks are his defense, age and is the shooting even real. I like him though. The production, size and offense looks interesting to me.

Drake Powell I am mixed on. His frame and game is reminiscent of Jordan Walsh and Powell was not much better on offense than Walsh as freshman. He also reminds me of a swingman version of Jaden Springer -- great size/measurements for his position and great defense but the intangibles & offense may not come. I like other prospects better than Drake, but I will sell myself on his upside if we draft him because his best case outcome (if he ever realizes it) will legitimately be awesome. But I don't want to pick him.

Happy draft day everyone. If the Celtics stay pat I'm on the Maxime Raynaud and Kam Jones bandwagons.

I hope Brad can swing a package at the draft to trade up and get Kasparas Jakucionis, yet still have an early/mid 2nd and grab Yang. That would be a very unexpected "international' draft.

That would be awesome imo

The one thing about Brad generally: he has an amazing track record of success and character, but is also rather steady & predictable and likes racking up singles in preference to taking big swings.

If Brad did something really dramatic -- like a Kasparas/Yang draft -- that'd be out of character and it'd also make for a really fun night

I actually think this would be reasonable for both teams.
