Keep that flexibility in prep for #KD2Boston2017. Midseason trade for another star (ala IT last year) would be great.

Not interested. Might slow down Kelly Olynyk's development.

Yup. Actually not fun to be a fan this summer. Let's see if the front office can catch all the balls they've thrown in the air..

Tallest midget? I think the rationale is longshot fireworks trading #3 and adding 2 max FAs - that slim chance is better than the other noncontenders.
How many contenders are there usually ? 5 seems about right.

Right after game 7 WCF he tweeted '35 shamrock' (as in a picture of a clover).
Lol
I miss Reggie Lewis too.

Huh? This is the most excited I've ever been going into an off season. So much potential.

Both exciting and anxiety-inducing, at least to me personally. The latter is the "not fan" part. Since there are several directions this offseason can go, you just don't know what to expect.

I just hope this the real fireworks summer, if we have to wait til next summer I'll live with it but, it'll be a huge bummer. I just don't want any short sighted moves and Ainge won't do that so I'm not worried.

Yeah, I guess it is fun.. It's just hard to get my hopes up when there are like 100 different rosters we could have in a few months. Easier to say "Man I hope Simmons drops" or "I think we have a shot at Durant" or "They're finally going to trade Cousins!", but all those at once, it's almost too much.

Re: The Official Off-Season Thread, part I of many
Personally I think Philly is trying to gain leverage on Boston with these Noel for Teague rumors, but let's say they go that route I can't imagine Atlanta keeping Millsap and Noel, could Millsap be available?
AB/KO/Jerebko/16/23 for Millsap then we draft Dunn, Hield or Murray or potentially trade for Jimmy
Another scenario I thought of is OKC moving Ibaka and either signing Ryan Anderson or a sign and trade with Atlanta for Al Horford, Kanter and Payne could be an intriguing package for Atlanta putting Noel and Kanter together and on the other side Durant has mentioned playing with Horford and it reunites him with Billy Donovan, Adams is the center of the future and sticking those two together would be one of the more formidable front courts in the NBA, that's where we come in and grab Ibaka
AB/16th/23 for Ibaka/2018 first, then we draft Dunn, Hield or Murray or potentially trade it, that gives OKC a lineup of
Adams
Horford
Durant
AB
Russ
Either scenario is a huge step up from Sully, personally I like Millsap better and I like the idea of drafting Dunn and having him split time as the primary ball handler with IT

Anyone see this? Actually seems plausible, especially in Smart's case:

I watched the whole video for an Elfrid Payton segment, but it never came. Just like his shooting touch.

For some players, there's definitely something to it, especially if the suddenly grow too much hair and their shooting motion was over-the-head.
