Not sure how a player can take his teammates seriously when he sees them wearing that flamingo-coloured abomination of a jersey.

Good job, good effort Miami. You suck! Stay in 7th seed hell forever.

No offence, but Rondo only showed up when he was on national television. I liked him when he was here, but the guy mailed it in quite often.
Yeah he was frustrating to watch a lot of times; still electrifying to watch when he was on tho

They'll be competitive, sure, but someone else takes the title home this year. Draymond is overrated and it's really showing this year. Klay's shooting percentage from deep has dropped 10%. The bench is trash. Cousins won't be saving them. He's never been a winning player and he's coming off a significant injury.
Maybe they're on cruise control for the regular season and Boogie returns to form by the playoffs. I'm expecting the path to the finals to be much more difficult for them though.
Basically everything you said here is true. Their depth sucks, Draymond is showing that his 2016 season where he was actually hitting threes was a fluke, Iguodala and Livingston are almost cooked, Cousins isn't going to help nearly as much as people think and I think there are legitimately internal issues there that are bleeding out into the team's play.
All of that being said, I still think they are coasting. I am 99.9 percent positive they will at least represent the West in the finals (as the West just isn't very good), although they are more vulnerable now than they have ever been. We can beat that team in a seven-game series.
Golden State does look like just another good team this year, not a favorite. But even if they're not head and shoulders above the rest of the league anymore, they're neck and neck. The Raptors, Bucks, Thunder, and maybe the Lakers could take them out. I'm not sold on the Nuggets - I think they're built to win a lot of regular season games but I'm skeptical that they're ready to win a championship. I think this could be Oklahoma City's year, actually.
I think GSW is just coasting too; they've got nothing left to prove in the regular season and so by the looks of things they're just trying things out i.e. Klay messing about with midrange shots, Curry playing more offball. Their bench is the weakest it's ever been tho and it's a shame the Rockets aren't the force they were last year otherwise I think there'd be a strong chance the warriors would get knocked out in the West.
I'm not convinced about the Thunder; they've played 16 of their games against sub .500 teams so far and Westbrook just doesn't look like his old self atm. There's a lot of very good teams in the West, but no real great teams that wouold be needed to test the Warriors.

On a scale of 1 to Confetti game, how funny would it be if both Kawhi and Butler left this offseason?

The Bucks and Lakers have zero shot of taking the Warriors out. Less than zero, as a matter of fact.

I am 100 percent positive that both will leave this offseason, so it would not be a surprise at all.

Butler still has more work to do in undermining 76er chemistry. He stays until we see at least one trade demand.

I don't think they're favorites by any means, but sometimes contenders go cold or seize up at the wrong time, or also-rans heat up at the right time. I can remember when the 8 seed Nuggets knocked off the Karl Sonics 20+ years ago in the first round, and when we flirted with disaster playing the Hawks in 2008.

It doesn't make sense for either of them to leave their current teams.. if the Clippers could move Gallo and had Tobias Harris under contract instead, LouWill/Shai-Butler-Kawhi-Tobias-Montrezl would be a squad.

It will be just our luck for GS to hit form when we are about to play them. Like the Rockets are getting it together when they sucked at the start of the season. Small issue, but it could mean the difference for home court.

For all those saying AD isn't a top 5 player or that he can't really anchor a team. He is entering into an age where he will be a top 5 player in the league for the next 4 years. He has been lights **** out tonight.
Luka is clutch as **** too

One more time for those that don't believe.
You have 4 years of a player. Do you take KD or do you take AD? I'm taking AD. The next 4 years are about to be his and a big man anchor is about to get his title.

Whoa. Abdel Nader posting 18 & 5 tonight for the Thunder. It was against the Suns though, so I'm not sure it counts.

33 minutes as well. To think he had one of his typical bone head plays in the 1st where he drove to nowhere and did not get a shot off to commit a 24 sec violation. We had it all wrong - just needed more minutes to get his grove. Career high for him.
Trade him for Hayward now!

Satoransky Time!
As The Polish Hammer would point out, the Washington Bullets play better and happier when Wall is not there.
Clippers might have won that Gortat for Rivers trade.
Who would have thought that adding Dwight Howard to the Washington team would destroy it? Everyone?
Howard said he could not sit down, could not put his socks on, and Washington thought he was a good signing? Very strange franchise. Add them to tanking teams, although they don't know how to do that. They are going to get Bol Bol.
The Knicks and Cavs tanking well, so a few teams for the Celtics to find something useful from. The NBA will obviously gift Zion to one of those teams?
After the Celtics game, it is Jake Layman versus Durant.
Some of you might consider it to be Evan Turner versus Jonas Jerebko.
