Like I said before, JT has to have a cut of Luke's next contract since he's made Kornet a ton of money.

But without the 3pt shooting. :D

Seriously, for those stats it helps to have teammates who are excellent defenders on the floor with you.

One of the greatest one-minute videos ever produced in the history of everything.

Amazing how while the end of the video was showing, the live game showed Kornet giving up a three to the Hornets lol.

Someone else said it first but Luke definitely has Bigtime Broadcasting potential after his 20 year NBA career ends.

Luke's 30th birthday is in July.

His next contract could provide a huge fraction of his overall playing-career earnings.

Porzingis + Kornet 2-man net rating is +51 !!! in 47 minutes post allstar break with an insane 85 defensive rating, lol
nobody can score on the twin tower lineup of 2big Luke + KP
wonder if we'll see much two big lineups in the playoffs?

I would think Luke and Kristaps would NOT have great oncourt chemistry but this year, in limited opportunities, they've been awesome

there's just so much arms out there, I totally didn't expect it to work either, but I love it and expect we'll see it in the playoffs, especially if the Cs play NY, CLE, and/or OKC

There is one huge benefit for KP and Luke. Luke will always be willing to go down low allowing KP more freedom and Space to operate where KP seems to like. And that is deep 3s and mid-range. Hard for teams to trap or double when Luke is roaming near the rim.

Apparently he didn’t play enough minutes to qualify for the leaderboard but Luke Kornet low key had a massive lead for best offensive rating in the association for players over 1000 minutes.

Logged a 152 (!) offensive rating and a mammoth ten point gap over the next guy in Jarret Allen.

Considering the vast majority of the league clusters between ~100-120ish a ten point gap is crazy.

Now that I think of it I’d be really curious the number of seasons of 1000+ minutes and a 150+ Ortg. I’m thinking that could be a very very short list.

but like .. why, though? Is it the ORBS? The lobs? The rapid ball movement he contributes to? Is he Theis sealing guys on screens? (haven't seen that, scratch that) It can't even be 'because he's playing backups' because I'd bet at least half of the time (totally unsubstantiated here), he isn't. Is it because he plays so much with our starters and yet he DOESN'T shoot 3s? Is it because our opponents are doomed by their own hubris when they see Luke out there -- they aren't ready for him to DOMINATE them?

OK, I don't know if Kornet can come close to duplicating his game last night, but damn he made himself a much bigger Bag IMO. But If he can, Max him

Yeah for sure. He made some money.
Some team will offer him 4/60 maybe?
IDK. He proved he can legit play and excel on the big stage.
