First Half Inglorious Thoughts

- What a crap performance by the Celtics: Mazzulla out coached again, too much isolation by Tatum, Brown limited,
no flow or pace, letting the Knicks hang in the game.

- Porzingus was the best Celtics player and they need to find more shots for him.

- Bench was a D-: Nothing from Hauser, Pritchard, Kornet... they might as well start Calcified Al and bring White
off the bench, so you'll have some rudimentary offense.

- Melatonin Basketball reminds me of last seasons's Celtics.

- How soon can they fire Mazzulla?

- Celtics defense was good however, though the Knicks were contributing to it with their poor shooting woes.

- Mr. Square Peg better get his act together.....

They really didn’t last year either. Other than a ridiculous November, I have no idea how they achieved the offensive rating they did. Something doesn’t pass the eye test.

Not actively seeking out or forcing switches is driving me crazy right now. Just all iso and hoping someone makes a shot after the initial ball handler bails on his iso attempt

It really stalled when Joe threw some odd Kornet lineups on the floor.

He made an absolutely ridiculous point about bench scoring. I think he's pretty bad, but they all are.

White's lack of ball time is troubling. Put the ball in his hands more. Pick and roll with Tatum and Porzingis. And get that SCRUB Kornet off my team!

They aren’t moving the ball. Those guys can’t create they need some ball and player movement.

Some expected growing pains leading to some unforced turnovers. Bench missed some open looks and the Knicks got some home MSG cooking. Celtics should pull away here in the second half

Feels like we win straight up out of talent and then when you watch the heat and nuggets play, it feels like there’s set plays out there made by the coach.

Makes me iffy about Joe already.

A lot of players/teams get up to play against us more than they get up for pretty much every game.

Maxey said on a podcast recently how he gets up to play us and so do his teammates.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

This is just bad basketball by both teams. No passing, just jacking up the first available shot. Actually the Knicks are playing better, but they can't throw the ball in the ocean.

Our biggest weakness this season may very well be Joe. Hopefully his assistants chime in when needed.

We would not have won 57 games if we didn't have plays lmao.

He was trying to say that when starters score with bench players on the floor with them that should count as "bench scoring". So based on that insane redefinition of bench scoring, we had bench scoring, even though none of our bench players had actually scored.

Lol.

Underrating the Celtics D imo. NY has been forced into tough contested shots all night.
