League sources tell MassLive that Boston is likely to make another move ahead of the trade deadline in the wake of the Tillman deal. Brad Stevens has been open about wanting to add more wing depth to the roster and losing Stevens in the Tillman deal could be a sign the team plans to bring in another body at that spot.

Frees them up to trade Luke. Prob impacts Chicago’s chance at the play-in as much as Caruso so deal seems imminent.

Caruso next?
I begged for Tillman & Caruso. I'll have to look back at the original post I did awhile back
Bulls want an OG haul for Caruso which is not happening.
At this point just F'in do it. They probably won't but why not Pritchard (filler Svi/Banton,etc) and 2 first round picks for Caruso. Just do it.
Jrue/White/JB/JT/KP
Caruso/Hauser/Tillman/Horford is unbelievable 9-man rotation
The other team has to actually agree to the trade..
Going from Caruso to Pritchard is a massive downgrade for the Bulls, who are in the hunt for the playoffs. And Chicago is not gonna want our bench of bench scrubs (we also have 1 less end of bench scrub to move in a trade, as STevens in now a Grizzly)
Caruso probably has the best value contract in the NBA. He's in his prime, arguably the best perimeter defender in the sport, has won a ring, is a 40% shooter from 3. Still has more years left on his contract, on a team friendly deal. One of the best role players in the league, one of the best defenders in the league.
Let's be realistic here and take off our green colored glasses. Chicago probably doesn't want to trade that type of player on that type of contract. And if they do, they're not gonna want our bench scraps and they're not gonna want our late 1st round picks.
If we end up getting Caruso, then great. Let's not act like it's that easy, like Brad could just snap his fingers and make the deal..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

and this is why you stack 2nd round picks.

Most of the year he has been playing with g league level player. Whether it's the stars or out or he was coming off the bench.. So hard to value a player in that situation..
Different positions, but just look at how Payton Pritchard plays garbage time versus how he performs in regular rotation. If it was true that x shot seventy percent around the rim last year that tells me that he is certainly capable. Factor in the spacing He'll have whether it's driving to the rim or spotting Up will be so much better than on Memphis.
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

He was in the rotation last year when they were a solid playoff team and performed well.

more or less that is my point.. Sometimes people can get so caught up on stats without looking closer at some of. The contacts that is involved..

Its funny. When I heard the Celtics got Tillman and before I heard about Stevens, I had a feeling Lamar would be gone somehow. I went to one of the Orlando games in December and the Celtics started Lamar at center because KP, Kornet, and Horford were out. He only played 14 minutes and Queta who had only played 30 minutes for the season,
played 18 minutes and I dont believe Stevens ever played center again. He really wasn't in the future plans at any position in Boston.

Brad Stevens on fans who want the Celtics to tank: "I don’t think they’ll like me all that much then."

Another reason why I like the x factor, Is in the playoffs so much is about matchups.. X has enough defensive versatility to deal with teams like Miami , while also being better at defense than a cornet would be against giannis..
He has enough lift to play a lob vertical game. And still hoping he can shoot well enough from three when boston needs to space the court.
And as another posted stated, Hopefully he has a mean streak with him..
And he does have some decent playoff experience..

Brad definitely wanted to strange Danny for his roster construction, by the end lol.

Those 4 all are in the "gettable" category it seems. Currently -- and it's subject to change -- I would rank them Kispert, then Walker. Not as into the other two, so coin toss. Maybe Grimes.

Brad didn't like 4 point guards under 6 feet?
