I would not deal him this summer. He's still not all the way back from the ankle surgery.

The only thing he brings to the table is scoring, since he can't even do that anymore he is a massive liability. What's worse is he still takes a lot of shots because he's expected to make shots.

5 things we have to do

1. run the ball up the court to get lay ups

2. work on free throw shooting

3. make tom thib. the coach

4. sit ray and sam for a while

5. give posey shots down the strech

"Euros" aren't a race.

So saying "basketball is an American game and should be played by Americans only" is a decent statement? Cause that's pretty much what he said. And I wasn't freaking out. I said, "And that was racist" or something like that. My point was that he called Varejao an Euro when he's from South America, which shows he needs to get his head out of his ass, pay a little more attention to the world outside his boundaries, and think before making an stereotypical (if you don't wanna call it racist) statement like that.

Edit: Let's just stop this argument. I am sorry for possibly overreacting.

You're supposed to be the best offensive player on the team! WTF are you doing averaging close to 12.5 pts a game this series?!?

Uhhh, what's he doing? He's shutting down LeBron 1-on-1. That's what he's doing. LeBron isn't getting **** when Paul is on him, so stop complaining about him. Ray is having trouble chasing Wally around, and KG is guarding Wallace, Smith, or Varejao. Those two SHOULD be scoring since the guys they're guarding have no offensive arsenal other than, "stand here and pray this J goes in."

I would start Posey. Ray can give us some bench scoring. Put Posey on lebron and that takes away the pressure on Paul to defend Lebron all the time.

In the first half we were shooting free throws everytime we tried to get to the basket, but we still insisted on forcing jumpers. This team is stupid.

^^^^

6. Give Powe more time to get rebounds and provide toughness.

7. Show Paul tapes of when he was good.

8. Not shoot ill-advised threes with 20 second left on the shot clock.

9. Take it to the hoop occasionally.

I'm getting to the point where I can trade playoff exit for Doc's firing.

I'd give him some minutes, but I'd start Posey with Pierce and let Ray come off the bench. Of course we've been saying that for a while now so it wont change.

They are doing the job on James. Problem is everybody else is doing them in.

How many times do we have to see 1 second on the clock and then watch West or Wally nail a shot?

Doc just said he doesn't care about Casell's shots, but thought he played bad defense, nice to know he doesnt mind the guy throwing up bad shot after bad shot that dont go in

That has puzzled ever since the playoff begun. All of sudden we became a half court offense, slowing down on every possession, while we have NO LEGIT post up players on the team! Rondo is more effective while pushing the ball.

Exactly.
Pierce is being covered by LeBron.
KG and Ray are being covered by Z, Varejao, Pav and Wally.

i think sometimes we're getting carried away guys.

i mean, 15-1 home team is in second round, i know i know, we shouldnt be looking at other teams and that we're the best record wise and should be winning on the road.

i agree with the notion to start posey over ray...posey has been one of our best shooters in the playoffs & D's up lebron fairly well. let PP chase around wally & his size would affect wally's shots. jus go with rondo, PP, posey, KG, perk. then bring house, TA, powe, ray off the bench with KG out there. doc has to be the biggest idiot coach in the playoffs, if not the league. what did he think was gonna happen out there with brown, davis, cassell, posey & pierce to start the 4th?!?!

but enough with the excuses. so what if PP is guarding lebron, thats NOT a reason why his offense has been horrible. EVERYONE on the court, includin the Cavs, are playing tough defense. u see j. smith & varajeo guarding KG & givin him a few tough shots, then they come down court & score. theyre doing it, so should PP be able to.
