I called this for Jaylen Brown after his first summer league game earlier this week. He's not consistent yet. Has shown some improvement but hasn't turned a corner yet. He came into the league with a lower floor than Tatum, but his ceiling is very high... I think we'll know what we got by year three.

Tatum looks like a top 3 pick. Fultz looks like just another guy out there. He doesn't really stand out. Yes, he has nice moves. But he's not assertive & his athleticism isn't very impressive. Tatum has a lot of bounce when he goes to the rim, Fultz, not so much.

That and he will only get better. Some things he does, it doesn't matter if it's SL or not...they will translate. He is extremely good.

Brown has so many holes in his games, I'm pretty worried about his future.

I would be as well... if we didn't have Brad. I've got this, possibly naive, impression that Brad can train him to help him fill out his game.

Tatum is the most talented player we've drafted since Pierce.

This. Watching Tatum play at Duke last year, I felt he had a chance to be special. I felt that way about Josh Jackson too, but was considered with Jackson's low point if release on his jumper.

Watching Tatum in a Celtic forum, I kept saying to my self that we are lucky to have landed Tatum. I was saying the same thing to, that he is the best player that we have drafted in over 15 years. The guys that came to mind were Pierce, Toine, and Joe Johnson. Antoine was a big talent coming out of UK, he just didn't have the inner game to become great like Pierce had.

From what I hear about Tatum, he is a real hard worker and has that inner game. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the best player we have drafted since Pierce.

7/11 takeover baby! If LAL pick conveys (say it's #4 pick), no doubt Danny won this trade. Idk why so many were angry over the trade. Fultz and Tatum I think will have similar production, as both are most polished scorers in this draft. Tatum has already shown a plethora of NBA moves, specifically his step backs

I think more than anything, the competition Tatum represents will benefit Brown immensely. By all accounts Jaylen is super competitive. Having Tatum there at the same position potentially taking his minutes should help push Brown elevate his game.

All these folks ripping Brown for not showing improvement in the SL need to get a grip. Season ended just a few weeks ago. He will have three months to work his ass off after the SL. He will be fine and contribute much more in year two.

Tatum looks stupid good. He'll be such an offensive presence a little later on. He's been get over the top of guys, making the right moves offensively, turnaround jumper is really nice. Swoops to the basket so smoothly, too.

Tatum looks like a total stud. I won't get too excited, as Kelly Olynyk looked like Dirk 2.0 in Summer League and he hasn't come close to that level, but man...Tatum is looking damn good.

I'm not ready to eat my Fultz crow just yet, but I'm putting it in the oven to warm up....

Brown is too careless with the ball. Needs to cut down on the turnovers

He is forcing the issue where as tatum is taking what the defense gives him. Big difference in players.

This is the reason I got on Brown last season. He still has a long way to go. People were calling him a superstar. Below average handles, not much of a passer, no court vision.

It's like people forgot how a really good rookie looks like. But I can't blame them, it's been a long time since we had a really good rookie. Last one was Joe Johnson who was traded during his rookie year. Prior to that it was Pierce and Antoine. I would put Tatum in that class just off potential, talent and overall game. I never felt that way about Jaylen.

Damn forgot there was another SL game tonite. Im gonna go backwards and.read this entire thread. Im more than a little psyched about Tatum. Heard reports he had 23 tonite. Cnation our time is acomin. 3 years will be good timing. And then we just rack up rings baby! We domimate the 20s baby!
