All the best to Gordon and everything but I for one am glad his injuries go in the Non-Celtics thread now.

looks like we traded the injury bug with him.

in all honesty, I wish the guy the best, and miss his game facilitation skills already.

WTF happened to him. Literally never injured in college or Utah, now it's all he can do. What a waste of a prime.

Someone has to have cursed Hayward. He has the worst luck. This injury doesn't seem to be anything serious, though. If this was the playoffs it's something you'd play through and he's listed day to day. I doubt he misses more than a few regular season games.

Yeah, all he broke in Utah was the base of the left hand 4th metacarpal, which he then re-broke in Boston when his hand smacked into LaMarcus Aldridge.

That's Hayward's shooting hand. The problem with some of these Hayward injuries is that when he comes back he's 85% or so. Never 100%. Then as soon as he hits 100% something else goes wrong.

Pretty much. Every time he started getting into a groove and the team would get used to playing with him this past season he'd then go out with something. It doesn't surprise me that he would become an after thought to get involved with the rest of the team considering he was always in and out of the line up.

Has Hayward tried wearing his underpants inside out? It wouldn't hurt to try at this point.

He should be fine. I heard he hired Pervis Ellison as a conditioning coach.
