The wheels fell off last night. Brown is absolutely done as a serious piece of the equation. We all saw what he was.

Extending every series longer than it needs to be doesn't help. We always talk about how tired this team is every year during the playoffs it feels like....

A big reason for that is because they very rarely take care of teams quickly. The one recent sweep we did have against the nets, even that was one of the closest sweeps ever.

Counting the 2 play-in games that Miami had to play, this is how many playoff games each team played:

Miami: 20
Boston: 20

I don't think this is why we lost.

I wasn't claiming that is why we lost.

Brown was playing with an injured wrist - Miami's biggest player fell on it in game 1 - the same wrist he had surgery on.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

JB was fine in the first series and had good moments against Philly too. It’s a little ridiculous to claim the injury didn’t hamper him.

That said, he should have had the IQ to realise he couldn’t dribble at all against this Miami team and find another way to attack.

You don't need to defend every player like you're their agent.

He can't dribble. That's a fact.

Did I hear Tatum say something like he was a shell of his self after twisting his ankle??? He's a loser basically. That's why we don't win. What a whiner. What a mental weinie.

Brown had the right idea, wrong execution. The team was stone cold from outside. So you take it inside. He was right and correct.

And he was playing hard. Didn't talk about how he was "shell" of his self. I'll repeat, give me Brown in the foxhole. He won't start crying to the refs about those meanies over there shooting at us. He'll just **** shoot back.

Brown doesn't play with purpose. He plays erratically.

If you can't bring your self to criticize him after last night's game then honestly I don't think you're being objective at all.

You ok bro? Because Brown tied for the highest number of three point attempts and led the team in the number of dumb three point attempts taken early in the shot clock. It's like you are recreating a whole imaginary game 7 in your mind to cope with how badly we lost.

I think the burner accounts are picking up more activity. This user has copy and pasted that response across multiple threads and I can respect it if it didn't come in the shadow of Browns performance last night.

Brown was awful and it's not the first time he's turned in a performance like that.

That sprain to Tatum's leg on the first play, really crippled us.

Needed to eliminate them earlier in 5, 6.

I had a bad feeling all yesterday about this game. It was impending doom. And it turned out worse. That was a shameful embarrassment for a Celtics Garden game 7. It was worse than the game 3 blowout and that's saying something. I've never seen a Celts team so low in all my days watching them. It was pathetic.

I don't gush over any player like the short attention span gamers who learned ball from playing video games. Brown had the right idea, bad execution. He kept losing his handle for some reason. Tatum is soft, mentally and physically. I don't like that kind of player on my team. I'm ring driven. Anything else is failure to me.

LOL How many more times do you think it will take for you to say the same 3 things over and convince yourself that they're not actually BS?
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Which part? Because right now we're sitting here watching the Finals. So which part is actually BS?

14 points from the superstar, MVP, 1st teamer. Yeah no. You can have him. Both teams came out tight but your star needed to step up and set the tone and pace. He was all set for another disappearing routine. A little twisted ankle sealed it and gave him a whiner's excuse. Don't want him. Perhaps #2. Odd there're no ring chasers wanting to come and get one with us so close. Perhaps it's something to do with the racist past here that we haven't lived down yet. Actually I wouldn't even want that type of ring. I want to earn it the right way, homegrown talent and hard work.

The part about St Brown whose continued bad execution gets a pass from you because he had the right idea. If I take a test and fail it 5 times in a row, they don't pass me because I had the right idea.

Then again, you say you're ring driven...but that could be cap. You give players passes for **** execution. Kinda sounds like cap.
