I just realised if Phily, Atlanta & Orlando lose their games today & Indy wins their going to be in sole second place behind us

Smart is averaging 15/6 on pretty good efficiency, with 3 steals a game. Maybe their issue is being down their best player and 3 or 4 other rotation players.
But yeah, let’s talk **** about a dude who played his ass off here for a decade.
Cry! Lol

I think everyone always knew Brogdon was a better scorer than Smart through their entire careers. Smart's strong points were his defense and that clutch gene that makes him hit timely 3s when they're really needed.

Not at all. We must've been watching a different guy all those years if you don't think he had it.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. Smart was pulling our butts out of the fire just in time since the first moment he suited up for us from my perspective.

Smart was one of the most efficient crunch time playoffs in the playoffs last season. Not an opinion, it’s a fact.
57% shooting in the clutch, and a 70% TS.

Oh yeah that’s a real mature reply. You don’t want to acknowledge facts, have fun with that. You’re no longer worth my time.

Just stop it with all this marcus smart defense. I hated marcus as a starter here, and it’s obvious you’re a fan boy. So let’s just agree to disagree on this one, and move on.
Oh, i get a vibe from you, with the way you react and comment. Like, you’ve been here before. Am i right? Haha

I don't see how you can be a Celtics fan and not a Smart fan. He wasn't the greatest player, but he was a great Celtic. And he was clutch whether you like it or not.

I can post whatever I like lol.
Posting factual accurate stats isn’t being a fanboy. In fact, the person who ignores facts with such great contributions as “lol NO” is being an irrational hater. You can hate all you want, more power to you.
And of course I’ve been here before, I’ve made no secret of who I am. And I was overwhelmingly in favor of moving Smart for KP, I was ready to move on regardless. But let’s not lie about what he brought.

Bro, i’m a celtic fan since 86. I supoort the team and not aupport the players blindly. I don’t like Smart here as a starter, and my hate for him as a starter slowly built up through the years, with all his bone headed plays, and bad shot making and decisions. I’m glad he’s gone. Oh, and i watch the games closely. I rely on the eye test, and my eye tells me that Smart is thr definition of unclutch.

He brought defense and grit i get that. I liked him as a bench player, and thought he was holding this team as a starter. I admit, i hated his guts as a starter. I was over the moon when he was traded. The fact is, he’s not with this team anymore, and stop defending his ass already.

Get some glasses buddy.I mean, it was visible to me from like his first game here that he was clutch. It stuck out like a sore thumb from the very beginning. He had his ups and downs like any player but to deny his clutchness is just crazy to me.
Lol. I think it’s you who should remove those green tinted glasses. He ain’t clutch. I have watched him miss tons of wide open last second shots, free throws, make dumb plays in the end.
