At this point I want KD on any team but the warriors.

KD is just gonna look at that tweet and think he can come back to OKC after he wins in G State, like LeBron did with the cavs. And every is fine everybody is happy.

All in all, I'm very proud of the job that Ainge and the Celtics staff has done in this sweepstakes.

We're sitting here in the final conversation, in the final hours, with a legitimate chance to sign Kevin freakin Durant.

He deserves praise for getting us this far.

These tweets will be like cocaine to some posters on this board with their made up percentages obsession

You think Durant is sitting some where going, 75% I go to GS. But man 25% of me loved hanging with Brady. Better make it 73/27 just to be safe.

He's a Bay Area reporter.

I don't follow the Warriors as much as the Celtics but from what I do now he is a reasonable reporter that doesn't just make stuff up. He has to have gotten this from the Warriors brain trust.

If Celtics lose this, IMHO it will be from not handling year 1 of the rebuild better. After that, Ainge recovered pretty nicely but with better moves in year 1 Boston would have a much stronger hand right now to play. Celtics have a strong hand to play thanks to Billy King but Celtics could have been the perfect scenario.

Emerging great team without KD with the ability to add KD/Horford and still have picks coming. If he hypothetically wouldn't leave OKC for that, all of the meetings were a joke.

Of course he got it from the GSW brain trust, which is why it's MEANINGLESS. It's their take. Means next to nothing.

Of course KD "likes" a 73-win team and doesn't want to leave the org he's been with his whole career. Some real Woodward and Bernstein-level reporting.

Don't get overly excited. GSW is in the lead, but not by much. Word is Durant loves Boston's roster and was blown away by all the Boston athletes telling him how great it is to win in Boston. And LOVED that they got Horford even without knowing if he was coming.

And OKC has the last word.

Jerry old man West is going to be the deciding factor now..........LOL. Not buying it. Starting to get my wind back on this fn roller coaster ride...........we still got a shot.

West largely responsible for building two different title teams in last 6-7 years.

I hear ya, but Durant already knows that by looking at Curry, Thompson and Green on the same team. He's not going to go to Golden State or not go there based on a pep talk from Jerry West. He already knows he can win a title there. He simply has to decide if he wants the SURE thing in Golden State or if he wants to take a chance being the MAN in Boston. I can see Ainge needing to convince Durant to come to Boston but I can't see him needing any convincing to go to Golden State.
