Because the Celtics were at home, where they have looked good all season. They are capable of beating anyone in Boston. The road issues are concerning. Last year celtics had the 2nd best road record behind the rockets, now, we can’t beat anyone on the road this days that aren’t tanking. Those west coasts trips against good teams, all L’s. L’s on the road against Toronto, Indiana, Charlotte, Miami, and now Orlando just to name a few. It’s like the playoffs in a way where we can’t find a way to win on the damn road or play a good enough brand of basketball to win these games. I wouldn’t get my hopes up until they start winning like any real championship contender on the road. If they win against Toronto on Wednesday and then lose the next game on the road, nothing new is learned about this team imo.
