I'm ready for the Andrew Luck era to begin.

How do we get him to un-retire and come here?

Spoiler:
I'm joking btw.

Brady postgame sounds entirely like a guy who’ll be here in August

I'm 22 years old, I just can't put Teddy Ballgame in the same realm. I can't.

Brady was my childhood.

That’s cool about your childhood but if you’re 22 maybe you want to go easy on saying there’s no debate?

I won't lie guys, you know your career has seen better days when you are facing a bye week at home and you get out played by Ryan Fitzpatrick.

It might really be over, with or without Brady. But if you could get an above average good enough QB with a mastermind like Bill Belichick I think you can still be pretty competitive.

Can't believe Julian dropped that pass..and that we punted on 4th and 6 with 3 minutes left.

But we lost this game on the 1st and goal at the 1 yard line. Shameful play calling to not get in there..just absurd. 17-7 game probably ends them as they would have to throw more and run less.

Shocking how a dominant 8-0 season went down the drain so quickly.

If it was the last time for Tom, it was an absolute pleasure.

It just goes to show how great Brady is. He definitely showed his age in a big way this season. When he looked as good as every, they were 8-0. When he stopped being able to carry the offense on his back and his play declined they were a very mediocre 4-4 team even with a very good defense. I’d like to think that an upgrade to O line and a couple of elite targets could recreate the magic but I think it’s the end of an era and time to rebuild.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Disagree— we lost that game when the number one defense in the game allowed a run heavy team to march down our throats in about 1.5 minutes to end the half. Or when we allowed a 3rd and long completion at the end.

Or when we allowed Ryan Fitzpatrick to lead a long touchdown drive the week before.

We just werent good enough. Our ‘historically good’ d was overrated and we had a worse than 2006 level supporting cast on offense. Major bummer, but oh well.

That game was f*cking bullsh*t of the highest order.

Why Kraft thought cutting Antonio Brown was a good idea will remain a mystery...

The Celtics being so good helped me get over that loss pretty quickly.

Winning the SB every year isn't realistic, neither is making the AFC championship every year, despite what has happened the last ten years. That was an exception to the rule, will NEVER happen again if i had to guess. Pretty much everything that could go wrong this year did, and once AB ***** up, they were handicapped by the cap and were stuck with what they had.

Really curious to see how the off season goes.

The amount of haters waiting for today is hilarious.

That's how you know you're the beat tho. Congrats to the Patriots regardless

Because he would've been placed on the Commissioner's exempt list due to the allegations. It's been widely reported. Dude wouldn't have played.

The league even sent out a memo to teams right after they cut him basically telling teams "if you sign him, he will be placed on the exempt list".

The AB signing ended up hurting the team for multiple reasons, they had basically no cap space left to make any moves outside of Sanu.

And he was a POS human being who sexually assaulted a woman and then, after the story was reported, threatened her and her kids via a group text message. Like, lets not gloss over that fact— he sent pictures of the children of a woman he sexually assaulted to a bunch of people she didnt know to investigate her.

**** AB. How anyone can defend that dude is beyond me.

Me and one of my coworkers were dreading it possibly happening when the Raiders cut him, and the rest of the people we work with were saying it was a no brainer.

I was not a fan of the move, and I KNEW giving him that guaranteed money would come back and bite them. Watching Patriot fans try to justify keeping him after the story you referenced was pretty gross, IMO.

Okay guys, play devil’s advocate with me. You think he’s going to get placed on the exempt list if he was still on the roster over a cash grab civil lawsuit that held no merit? Please. The NFLPA would’ve sued the league. And even if they did get ballsy and suspend him over a civil lawsuit, which would’ve been unprecedented, he would’ve been back in early November.

I don’t watch sports because I want my players to be model human beings. The owner of the team got caught getting jacked off in a prostitution sting. Should I stop watching the Pats too?

Give me a break. You keep AB on the roster and let the NFL make a decision. You don’t cut him and make the league decision for them. They basically blackballed him the entire season. The NFLPA had no leg to stand on because technically he was free to sign anywhere. The NFL used the exempt list and their fraud investigation as a threat and the teams all bit and fell for it.

His accuser was interviewed in mid-September. It doesn’t take 4 plus months to investigate that. They froze him out because they didn’t want him hijacking the league for their 100th season, as he was doing up until that point.

If AB doesn’t get cut, the Pats are currently on a bye week and preparing for next week. To say it was the right move is idiotic as we clearly saw last night with that dumpster fire of an offense...

Yah, if youre innocent youre first instinct isnt to threaten the kids of your accuser. Also were talking about the second case, not the first.

Theres a reason literally EVERY team ignored him— I mean, he **** brought a camera crew with him to his Saints interview. There is something wrong with him. Only a misogynist would argue elsewise. Hes is a POS human that has left utter destruction everywhere hes been in everything hes done.

His accusations werent a cash grab. Multiple people arent lying and some didnt even want cash [beyond his contractual obligations].

Not to defend AB - but the woman he threatened never accused him of sexual assault. Just sexual misconduct - an unwanted advance. He allegedly exposed himself to her at one point, but was basically just accused of being an ****.
