Jaylen was clearly held back with the inferior AB and Crowder ahead of him. Nesmith, Langford, Pritchard and Williams have been held back as well. NOT being held back is the exception like with Tatum

When he was a 20 year old rookie on a 53 win team and still he started 20 games? Jae Crowder was clearly better than Jaylen Brown when Brown was a rookie. I must have a different dictionary from you on many things.

His injury story is obviously well-known and not worth discussing but after 2 seasons with no real training camp, Summer League or practices I see a lot of what I saw in this video in him. He was a bit maddening down the stretch with just how ineffective he was on offense. Though he finished strong in the last 2 games against Brooklyn. The defense has 100% come as advertised. But I still think the player this guy is talking about is still in there somewhere waiting to get unlocked. The question is, do we have time to uncover him? Re-signing a player like Fournier reduces the need to wait on Langford's development but is the financial cost worth it?

Romeys a slasher, mid range jump shooter, and offensive rebounder. His 3 ball will come in time like Jaylens. I'd keep both him and Nesmith. Besides we have Jaylen and Tatum. I'm all for a vet sniper off the bench mixed in with the young draftees but no way for what Fournier wants. For the money he wants he's not complete enough for me when we have other needs.

Agreed this really is his last last chance to show big time improvements or else he must be gone

If we can get Fournier for 3 -51 descending (18 mil, 17 mil, 16 mil) or around that I feel it's a no brainer. I wouldn't go 4 years, unless it was a team option, and not over 17 mil avg. I would not move any of Pritchard, Langford or Nesmith, as they need more time to work on their game and learn under Tatum, Brown, Smart and Fournier.

The ones we need to move is Thompson, G. Will and Edwards. That's 3 roster spots right there to fill with vets. We have the TPE's to be able to do it easily enough. Semi's spot has already been taken by M. Brown. Jury still out on Kornet's spot but I would resign him as insurance if I could over G. Will.

getting rid of TT should be priority number 1. Just don't think it will be as easy as some may think.

I'd move TT Edwards and Semi to free up spots. GWill takes Semis traditional role, Moses will play RWills role and if he's healthy we'll have 2 rim protector, lob threats. Plus Moses is a better rebounder. Kornet provides depth. Parker could stick too. He has good enough size and skill to back up the front court especially Tatum and Horford.

looks like brad wants to move on from rob. which means TT probably stays.

i'm ok with that, tbh. TT stepped up and played decently well when it counted, while rob was once again injured.

Ugh. Horrible. Where do you get that info or take from? (Other than Brad never seeming to have liked Rob and maybe having praised him too heartily in his last presser.)

Brad likes Rob plenty, they just don’t think his body is going to hold up, and don’t want to be the one to give him a big contract.

If Horford starts, I would rather play Moses over TT. Don't want TT to stun Moses' development. Before anyone says Moses is a "not ready" project, I want to add I believe more in what Moses can do next season than most when given a steady and regular playing time.

And Kornet can serve as a good insurance 3rd center at a much better salary.

Hopefully the status of RWill and TT aren't connected too much. It's June, there's plenty of front court options. We need more size and athleticism. Looking at the PO teams if we go into the season with only Moses as an addition it'd be a disservice to the the team.

I thought NJs Claxton looked good defensively. I'd target young athletic bigs like that. Batum would be good here too. Lots to choose from. Wood, Wiseman, Bagley. DC has a few especially the 2nd year player - I forget his name.

He claims to have been on top of the Udoka pick, but doesn't actually appear to be by his timeline. Also, first he predicted Kidd to Orlando, then to New Orleans. Didn't have Kidd to Dallas until yesterday, after others had it.

And thanks, I've seen and responded to it now over on the trade thread.

Hachimura? Don't think they would be looking to part ways with him. I still like Bertans, but don't know if acquiring him is feasible. It may be that all we do is add a player via the taxpayer MLE, which is just under $6 million. I'm hoping that we get Rai'Quan Gray with our pick at 45. I think he would be just the ticket.

Sucks if they’re wrong on that.. seems better to gamble on Rob’s health than trade him for a late 1st..

I have zero interest seeing TT in green ever again. Really hope he's traded for a much needed backup 4. #tristan4kuz

I had to look it up. I was thinking Gafford.
