Not really.

The Bucks were already having defensive issues with Jrue, even if Jrue is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA.

Now with Dame, the Bucks have gotten worse on the defensive end.

Lmao come on.

It’s a MASSIVE upgrade for them in the playoffs.

Their defense takes a big hit with Jrue gone.

I think the only loser bigger than the Heat in that deal is the Suns. That trade is god awful for them

The last time a preseason odds favorite won the title was with the KD-Curry Warriors. Bucks are now the preseason favorite for the championship. Congrats to the Boston Celtics for winning their 18th banner!

Does in work in the CBA to use the Grant TPE for a player making 6 mil

Sending brogdan, pritchard, kornet, hauser and the player acquired with the TPE to Blazers for Jrue?

Normally you need to wait a certain period of time before a player traded for can be packaged with other players in a trade....I think?

Derrick White is getting ignored here. He's our defender vs. Dame. No need for Jrue.

If they go big in the clutch with Lopez, we need Rob on the floor. If they go small with Giannis at center, Horford will be in his place. Sub in Brogdon for either for offense.

White/Brown/Tatum/Porzingis will end games for us no matter what.

No, we need his efficiency in the playoffs.

Why in the world does Portland take our pupu platter for a first team all-defense guard who just made an all-star team?

If there's a "need" on the roster, probably another backup guard who could defend -- someone like Davion Mitchell or Caruso or Quentin Grimes.

Nurkic is absolutely horrific in the playoffs, he makes Ayton look like Hakeem. And the depth they got blows

You’re assuming Rob will be healthy for the playoffs. That’s a shaky assumption.

I love Rob, but you have to have a meeting and a real conversation if you can get Jrue for Brogdon/Rob/pick(s).

I'll be honest here, I do have a soft spot for the Nurk-Alert. But in the end, he is only required vs teams with big Cs and he has a history of playing well vs Jokic. Assuming the other team doesnt have a big C, then he wont need to play much

It's just weird. We were struggling in clutch offense with Smart and now people want Jrue, who's less efficient and was taking more ill-advised shots for the Bucks. Derrick White did better than Jrue against the Heat tbh.

Gotta assume there is a pick or to in there, the platter just gotta be for salary purposes?

'Off Night' would be a fun addition, if nothing else

Yup, probably Brogdan and whatever to match salaries plus two 1st round picks. Holiday would be the perfect Smart replacement, with much better offense.
