Edgecomb is a stud. Elite finisher and solid 3 pt shooter with decent playmaking skills. There were times where JB and Minot played great defense and he did what he wanted anyway. I will be curious to see him play teams like Cleveland that have elite rim protectors. The Sixers may have nailed it.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

The did not defend the perimeter well. Maxey and Edgecombe combined for 74 points. Then Edgecombe missed those two free throws and handed over the game on a platter, but the Celtics dropped it.

Pritchard makes that shot 90% of the time but last night he didn't. In fact he shot poorly all game.

It's good if the Celtics win, because they've won. It's good if they lose, for better draft position. Go gap year!

Hugo was up at the scorers table near the end of the 3rd, but didn't get in because there were no dead balls. Judging by the Celtics' lack of perimeter containment last night, he'll no doubt join the rotation very soon.

that is a relief then, thanks

It’s not unserious at all. Look at White’s numbers prior to the Celtics and his first season. I guarantee he will be inefficient again this season

Why would you Guarantee that?

Again his game relies on Tatum AND Brown getting him open looks. You’re seeing it again this knicks game. White is not a second option player. He was the third, fourth, even fifth option at times on previous iterations of this team. He can’t create for himself

Lebron made it to the finals with that cleveland team.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

At least Hugo.

Parl, I know you're not new to this. The rookie might not play early in the season. And he's not a 'big' like Garza. Patience, my friend!
Simons and Boucher will provide good bench energy

I can hope, can't I.

You're busting my Bubble, Man!

Parl, I apologize, I was wrong. Hugo's defensive impact is That Good That Soon! I look forward to him bothering the **** out of Edgecomb and Maxey next Friday (these two teams play again on Halloween!)

Hugo looks like a total stud -- like a 6'8" Avery Bradley! (that is high praise from me)

Yeah, the Kid did good, huh?
I think that he's good as the 10th Man.

think higher. If he can play with that motor and quickness, anyone other than Derrick and (mostly) Jaylen can take notes while watching him:)
