There's an entire side of the floor where you can't use him for anything at all except selling out for easy rebounds I guess. Isn't worth changing the entire defensive identity of the team by giving up Crowder/Bradley, which is what Cleveland will demand.

People are saying he isn't being used correctly in Cleveland but I am not even sure if that's true anymore. Yes with Lebron and Irving there is not as many shots and so his stats went down but at this point I think he was putting up monster number on a god awful Wolves team.

Love's being used fine. GSW is just really, really good.

You don't end up in the high 20s for DReb% every year because of easy rebounds.

Injuries seem to be catching up to him and that's probably why we didn't put BKN on the table in February.

Frankly, watching his efficiency drop with decreased usage and Lebron/Irving drawing all the attention is a huge red flag for me.

Anyone who listened care to summarize the highlights beyond the epic quest for CHL's heart that will follow between RA and KO?

Lol.

Browsed through quickly. Ryan Anderson stuff is around 25 minutes, at the very end Deveney says something like 'it makes so much think I think he ultimately ends up in Boston.'

Ryan Anderson is big, white and can't defend a chair. Perfect fit, sort of a poor man's Kevin Love.

Anderson has his own injury problems. Depends on how much money he's getting, too. 15 million? Ridiculous, but puts him in the same tier as Tobias Harris, Greg Monroe. (Thanks, desperate owners!).

Depending what else happens, I'd be happy with Ryan Anderson. I'd pay him $15mill/year pretty easily. More so if I can keep the years short.

I'd offer $18M to Harrison Barnes first. Only if GS matches would I look elsewhere. I want a wing who defends, plus one who is still only 23.

Say more about Barnes, especially his offense. Weren't you in the camp that considered him a Jeff Green type?

I have a strong hunch Barnes gets an offer from the Pacers.. Nothing to substantiate it.

I like the idea of Love to Minnesota for the 5th pick :D Jamal Murray or Hield would be a nice partner for Irving.

I don't recall ever comparing Barnes to Jeff Green. Barnes is inconsistent offensively but a beast on defense. At age 23 he fits the demographics and personality of this team, and as an offensive player he probably has as much upside as some of the guys in the draft.

He's been outstanding against Cleveland, completely neutralizing JR Smith. He would give the Celtics 4 candidates for the all-defensive team: Bradley, Smart, Crowder, Barnes.

Would the Warriors match an offer starting at 18-20M per year? They might, but then you just move on.

Obviously his ability to guard 3's and 4's would be big for our system. But 18 million for that? It's all still about his offensive upside, and that's what divides people. Is he an opportunity away from being like James Harden? His game always looks a little mechanical, and reminds me of Avery Bradley in that way- the best case is that he just needs to get his number called over and over until he can be more reliable on offense. But that still leaves him shy of being able to create on offense.

I'm also worrying more about our end game- if we trade the third pick for Deandre Jordan and sign Barnes, is that it? Where do you go from there?

The question isn't whether or not Barnes can become James Harden. It's whether or not he can become Kawhi Leonard. He's close on the defensive side, not so close on offense. But he's two years younger than Leonard, who was only putting up 12.8 ppg when he was Barnes' age.
