I’m really excited to watch the team Tbh as long as we don’t get Drummond. Time lord needs every single minute he can get and we need a clear rotation hopefully now. Pritchard gets the minutes, time lord etc. be interesting to watch

It gives people something to talk about, over and over and over again. It's part of the Ainge story too. We won a ton of titles in the 50s 60s 70s and 80s so people didn't like us. Ainge as a player was abrasive. So fans of other teams really didn't like him. Then after bird retired and Bias and Lewis died we sucked a lot for a long time. That made fans of other teams happy. Ainge came in and mad us good again. That's why you see people always taking shots at him- I'm talking not the "fans" here. Lots of GMs are close on trades. If we didn't get Fournier someone else would have. Someone was close. Where is that story? It doesn't fit the narrative.

What is sad is that the the disdain for Ainge of the rest of the league has has seeped in here.

Odds have to be high that we do add someone right? Any math guys correct me if I'm wrong, but we could have just kept Green in all of this and still skirted the tax right?

I agree. Teague was playing better lately but taking the ball out of PP hands after the way he started the season was a bad decision. Rob/PP/Nesmith should get minutes now.

Trading away Teague, Javonte, and Theis (though I preferred we traded Thompson instead) is an underrated move. It opens up minutes for Pritchard and Timelord even more. I think Ainge took matters in his own hands since Stevens relies too much on his vets. Nesmith and Langford, I'm not sure. Fournier plays the same position. He alone would take about 30 mpg. Semi will still be part of the rotation once healthy.

AInge shouldnt let this non sense get out.

Now the team knows that many of them were shopped, and the team now knows that many of them have lower values than guys like Carter Jr.

Keep it quiet.

I would hope so, but am not counting on BRad to do the right thing

I agree but would be more excited if the Celtics can drop Kornet and pick up a KO, Potter Jr, Dieng etc. someone that could possibly carve out a role for next year. Not real interested in a LMA, Drummond.

I would argue Timelord isn't that far off to WCJ, but ORL already has Bamba. After RW3, there's a huge dropoff. Nesmith and Langford are unproven. Pritchard doesn't seem to be a high ceiling player.

True, he but probably was off the table. And WCJ still was drafted higher, so it sounds better, lol.

The Magic already having Bamba is a very good point people miss. They invested a No 6 overall pick on him in the same draft as RW3. Trading Vuc for Rob would be an admission that Mo is a bust and tank his confidence and morale (as well as any trade value).

Whereas, trading Vuc for WCJ, would not be.

I thought at the beginning of this season that Kelly would make a ton of sense on this team right now. Can space off the bench and make passes to cutters. Obviously knows the system. Kind of a perfect backup to Rob.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Picked one pick after Bamba. Equal in stature

I'm still stunned CHA didn't get the jump on the offseason and add Theis for Biyombo and a 2nd or two.

What is so good about Wendell Carter? He has been a huge disappointment thus far...R. Williams definitely has more potential...Well, I guess the Magic did not see it that way...of course if the report is true...
