Jaylen was playing his heart out and was by far the best celtic on the floor.

It's not just this game.

Celts have lost lots of games because Ime is not doing a good job.

Look at the Spurs and Popovich.
They have a system that the players strictly follows or Pop will not play you.

Ime is running the Celts as if the Celts are an All-Star team.

A lot of the Celtic players are allowed to get away with bad plays with no consequences.

Ime is too lenient.

That said, he has been terrible this year. I honestly can't think of something he's done well, and his personell choices are indefensible at this point. You can't, can't, can't keep throwing out these groupings with three non-shooters at the end of these games. Its coaching malpractice.

Schroder
Timelord
Smart
Brown
Tatum

Zero spacing

Lineup to close out pretty much every game.

Smart
Brown
Tatum
Horford
Timelord

Lineup that starts and falls behind early every game.

Major changes has to be made!

the scary part is, I don't even expect a minor change..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Of all the players to single out and put the loss on its stupid to go after Jaylen first. Just agenda driven idiocy.

I'll live and die with those Jaylen drives any day. At least he's attacking the basket and he normally isn't going to miss some of those bunnies

They need a PG. stupid. Smh.

Umm, look how many points they gave up to a bad team. Their defense sucks. They should never have been in that position.

Spurs are 6th in mba in ppg. Held them under 100. Had to be a win .

It was a low iq play. I am not asking him to pass there. He has to go at eight to the hoop. He made the right play. That wasn’t a low iq play. He got to the front of the damn rim.

There is no hierarchy.

The Lakers go to Lebron or AD in the clutch.

Brooklyn can choose among their big 3.

But the Celts have no go to guy in the clutch because everybody thinks he will be the hero!

It is like a of a player. Lakers have Lebron, Suns CP3, Nets Harden, Kyrie.

Durant/Booker are the finishers and closets, but they have people to tee them up. Us? Nothing. And not enough damn shooting either.

Brown played great. F off.

Issue is offense and ball movement. Smart works great, but the ball is never in his hands late or when it matters.

If he drives left for a second, his defender comes with him and Tatum is ahead of the pack for a lay up down the middle. He cut Tatum off to dribble down the same space that he could have hit Tatum with a pass. If Marcus Smart steals that ball we are in OT with a Tatum lay up right now.

That last play was emblematic of the Jays partnership at this point. They get in each other's way more than they elevate each other to be better players. Both are also scorers in their core.

Also funny how we ended the game the way it started. JB had another guy in transition (Smart ahead of him beginning of game then Tatum there at the end) but spacing is whack. No time and Timelord for the putback to force OT.
