For some, this might be about JT showing more aggression on the court but that might be oversimplifying things. He could be more aggressive with his offense and it still not translate to more scoring for himself. Or more aggression could translate to more turnovers which we DEFINITELY don't want. For others it could mean simply dunking the ball more in finishes and fewer layups. I just think he needs to take better shots.

More attacks from the wing and corner where it's harder to send doubles. More moving without the ball. More PnR with him as the screener and rolling into the midpost. His mid-range game has eroded to a degree. That said, the JT we have is still great enough to win a championship so really what do we have to complain about? Fpr me, I could see maybe 2=3 shots less from 3 and those in the midpost/foul line extended for efficiency. Otherwise I'm okay.

Should Tatum be trying to injure people every minute he's on the court like Embiid

Lol. We are talking about being too nice in the court, not outside. We need him to progress into a dog this season, and not be some puppy dog that everybody likes and buddy buddy with everyone.

JT becoming someone like Ant is not happening.

But JT can be more efficient.

As long as his production is high, that's good enough.

I don't think JT's personality will change.

We just have to accept him for who he is.

And if the championship parades happen 2 or 3 more times in Boston, I don't think fans will be complaining about buddy buddy.

Jayson Tatum is a champion, best player on the team, and works his ass off! That’s all the dog I need! The role players can worry about being the rougher personalities! Tatum, THE CHAMPION, is great how he is!! No one is asking Jokic why he isn’t a dog! Tatum’s game and CHIP does enough of the barking! Thanks!!

I just some people have nothing better to talk about. The Celtics are the champs!! Enjoy it. Screw how many minutes Tatum gives or doesn't get.

I still say Lebron and Curry need to sit next to Embiid for the entire game.

It's more about Kerr being a jerk than the Tatum minutes.

You're absolutely right, the Celtics are champs, but Kerr embarrassed the champs' best player.

I don't think you can progress into a dog. You either have that in you or you don't. Nor do I think it matters much. Tatum just needs to work on his shot. Him being nice isn't a problem.

So I didn't watch, but how did Tatum start next to Embiid, who is a career 12.6 boards per 36 minutes (to JT's 7.5), and end of with the 10 boards for a 10/10 double-double, to Joel's 3 boards?
