This teams honestly looks better without KP. They move the ball better and KP is just so soft. If we could just turn JB into a 3 and D player, and make White the 2nd option, we’d go 16-0 in the POs

I feel KP is playing great but the giving him the ball in the post or looking for him to shoot threes off pick and roll has been forced. Our guys stand around way too much when he’s in the game most notably Tatum, white, and holiday. It worked last season during the regular season so I don’t see why it can’t be fixed.

ISO ball kills the offense and ices out players like White leading to lethargic defensive efforts. Our two most heavy iso players are JB and KP. It makes sense. The #2 option s/b split between JB KP and white where the balance is better and everybody is involved. Mazzulla has gone more iso this season perhaps to smooth JB’s ego or to try to get KP into shape. Whatever the reason, it’s trash bball and hard to watch. Tatum and White are both willing passers who can make shots and quick decisions; that’s why their actions are so successful and lead to ball movement. Jrue is still very skilled and passes very well although his shot making is far below White now.

The ball sticks in KP and JB’s hands. They don’t make quick decisions. It’s frustrating because JB had shown a ton of progression last season but has regressed terribly this season
