Kevin McHale is smokin a joint right now, laughing his ass off at that series of offensive possessions the Rockets had in the last 5 minutes. What a poorly coached squad. Harden and Dwight don't care though. Probably more worried about which club they're hitting up after the game.

Aint over till its over...fate now lies in UTA and LAC to beat DAL. Hou to win last 4 and UTA to win 3 or 4.

Still HOU got tiebreaker 2:2 over DAL due to beter division record.

We just need MEM to get to 43 wins in this scenario.

That way standings would be
MEM 43
UTA 43 OR 42
HOU 42
DAL 42

Houston got an easy schedule but I doubt Dallas loses 2 games.

Houston are done for. Cheeky trade offer for Harden in the off season tbh.

Sorry guys.....

Still not sure how we are winning games with Parsons and Deron gone and Dirk MIA on offense like this. Right now our entire offense is JJ Barea and Wes Matthews 3-pointers.

And we are somehow winning games with defense? Salah and Anderson getting minutes certainly helps with that, but it still feels like smoke and mirrors.

I mean, at the start of the season we would've been pretty happy with 4, 15, 24, 31

Even happier at the time the trades were made

Shame for a while 3 & 12 looked likely though

Gonna be one hell of a draft day

Pretty much in line with what I expected. Knew Brooklyn had a bottom 5 team, Nets' fans playoff delusions notwithstanding. I wasn't sure on Dallas but figured the Parsons and Matthews health situations would have them just out of a playoff spot, but that assumed the WC wouldn't fall apart, particularly New Orleans and this sorry Houston team. That also assumed Dallas wouldn't win seemingly every coinflip game they've played, including some truly ridiculous wins such as the Denver collapse a few weeks ago. Kind of the anti-Brooklyn in that sense.

Either way, Crowder + 15 or Crowder + 12 for half-season of Rondo are both off-the-charts felony theft so it's hard to complain too much.

When you see a lot of team play, just than you realize how little is enough to be average team in this league...Solid coach with system, moving the ball and defense in today nba makes you top 10-15 team no doubt. Than the next step is having a top 10 player who can take over in close games and you are a top 8 team.

The way HOU plays is pathetic, evry offensive posesion goes over Harden. Ok it would be acceptable if they would have above average 3pt shooting in pg/sf/pf position and spreat the floor...that would work because they had multiple open 3pt in last games, but can not hit them.

And as DAL poster said...really it is amazing how DAL is winning with 2 man offense and opposing team can not defend them...come on give me a good coach and 2 defensive players and there is no way Barea and Mathews score 20+ every game.

Not a lot of quality basketball right now in the NBA.

Rockets have absolutely no defense. Harden is atrocious. The franchise will be sorry they fired McHale.

It's almost set in stone that the nets will finish with the 4th worst record. Suns are not winning another game this year.

It's completely on us. Nets are a game behind Phoenix. Had we won both Nets games, it would be the other way around.

It's frustrating but in the end it may not make a difference. Nets have four games left two potential wins. Against the wizards and the last game of the season where the raptors will be resting all their guys.

Its funny when watching the game on espn they interviewed Barea and he was talking about how his college coach "made him a man"..

Thats funny Barea, because you're not a man but a midget, gtfo of here with that ****.

idk if im going to hold hope that the Rockets and Memphis stays ahead of Dallas and kicks them out of the playoffs or settle with the 15th pick..

If that were to happen then Houston has to beat PHX tonight and win out the rest, but if PHX beats Houston they're tied with BKN in win column. I dont think BKN wins another game, but Houston might be emotionally drained after this loss, so PHX could take advantage of this.

So for one **** time only, just **** win tonight PHX!

I have frikkin spent lots of nights this season watching our 2 picks, I'll take the 3rd worst lottery record and the 15th pick.

[tweet]https://twitter.com/GoodmanESPN/status/718118008980443136[/tweet]Between this, Rondo, IT, Minny pick for Brandan Wright, and whatever else we stole from the Suns, McDonough must be pissed with his old boss. Or are the Suns the Celtics Annex by now? Can't wait for Booker to be traded to the Cs for a bag of chips.

just like IT, he plays with a far bigger heart than his size might suggest. I know he's a player who rubs a lot fans the wrong way with some of his flopping and other antics , but I feel like if he played for the Celtics he might become a guy you'd really come to appreciate.

Ryan McDonough has terrific hindsight. That's all. No more, no less and I doubt this tweet.

I'm a big Barea stan too but only because the Mavs are my second team. People hate him for his size but dudes like him and IT have more heart than a guy like Dwight could ever hope to.
