I mean look, even if he is going to be 43 next year he still should be a Patriot until he hangs it up. If it were up to me he signs a two year deal. Or a one year deal and goes year by year for his future but it sounds like he wants to play NEXT season.

Can't the Patriots find some way to make a move for another weapon or two on offense? Go all out for one more year or two? Like the offseason when they somehow got Moss and Welker?

Not sure why Brady even wants to play another year for another team tbh. Can't imagine it does his career any good. At this point if I'm him, I already achieved legendary status, won 6 rings, have all the money in the world and I'm 43 years old..time to sit down with Bill and Kraft and see if they can get me 2 elite receivers, better protection and a chance to win another one in NE..if not, time to retire and go enjoy my kids, my wife and my millions. What the hell do you want to play for these under .500 teams like the Brownss, Raiders, Chargers, Panthers..it makes no sense. It's like Kobe leaving LA to play one more year with the Hornets..like why?

Yeah I feel the same way. I can't even mentally imagine Brady in another uniform and would almost think he is asking for trouble at his age starting over somewhere new. Even though this team flamed out you can't get it your way every season. It's championship or bust here but sometimes it just doesn't go your way and an earlier loss might have saved them some wear and tear with already existing injuries.

I am hoping and thinking in a month or so they all kinda just calm down and talk about it and realize it's best to keep him in NE.

I know Kraft has said he wants Brady to stay here or retire. Those two are pretty damn close, they have to make something happen.

They also have to just do what they freaking can to upgrade the offense, make calls all around the league.......trade future picks I don't give a crap at this point.

edit: Ok, maybe don't gamble too much on the future though lol.

Brady is going to test the market ahead of free agency, and Pats are fine with this. My understanding is that they would have $13.5m in dead cap on Brady if he isn't resigned, and would then need to go sign another QB on top of that. Short of finding a superior FA QB for $10m or less (LMAO), or rolling with Stidham and eating that $13.5m (also LMAO), pretty sure Pats would take Brady back in the $23m range. If Brady can blow that $23m figure away in free agency (a third LMAO), then they would have to make a tough decision, I guess.

Im pulling for the Titans now, got to respect the Pats defense for only allowing 14 pts. Hoping neither Mahomes or Watson goes to the super bowl.

Titans, at 6th seed, beat the Patriots and the Ravens (the #1 Seed).
We'll see if they make the Super Bowl. It's anybody's game after that.

Steelers won in Super Bowl XL, as a 6th seed.

P.S.:
Fox is charging $5.6 million for 30 seconds of commercial time, during Super Bowl LIV.

Chiefs are the ultimate choke franchise. Nice to see garbage people like Tyreek screw up massively.

Wow

Titans beat Pats & Ravens.
Texans up 21-0 in Q1 VS Chiefs.
Chiefs have already dropped a bunch of passes & turned it over on kick return.

Has there EVER been a 6 VS a 4 seed in the Conference Title Game in the NFL?

Not sure. That would be something though.
Makes everything that much more competitive.

He wanted to massively change things in Cleveland I heard, can't say I blame him lol.

Glad he is back though, Brady likes him. Hell get Brady back since IMO he deserves to go out on his own terms in NE.

But dear God this team needs more firepower on offense.....

Mahomes is UNREAL. I used to say last year he reminded me of the NFL version of Steph Curry lol.
