I found a good stat for JB. It's a little bit confusing cause I find only bad stats about Jaylen on this board

Jokic and them would average damn near 2 ppp if they got the Jaylen Brown treatment by opposing defenses.

JB was the only Celtic in the first round that was constantly and successfully getting to the basket and exploiting mismatches. That becomes even more valuable when the team's 3s aren't falling. Hopeful to continue more of the same in the next round.

The chart literally states 1 on 1 in isolation.

Jaylen Brown just passed Jason Kidd and Nikola Jokic on all time playoff scoring list. By the end of this series he probably passes Al Horford, Moses Malone, Giannis Antetokuompo and Allen Iverson as well.

Last night was one of my fave JB games of all time.

He is fortunate…although some of it is his doing… to have been mostly making deep playoff runs since his rookie year.

Except his rookie year and the third year when we lost in the round2 vs Milwaukee he has always been the second best scorer on the team: 2018, 2020, 2022, 2023.
In 2021 he was injured and didn't play in ps. I assume he will be the second best scorer in 2024 too.

He is fortunate…..his all NBA combination of strength, speed, ability to finish above the rim and shooting touch is indeed a gift that few humans have ever possessed.

Great stretch of Basketball from JB, has been the Celtics best player this postseason. 24pts on 61% eFG while defending at a high level. Consistently pressuring the rim. Hope he can keep it up.

His shooting from the line has always been mind boggling to me. Very streaky and inconsistent.

It's definitely a mental thing with him. He gets in his own head, especially when he misses the first. Seems more often than not he then misses the second.
