So I didn't watch, but how did Tatum start next to Embiid, who is a career 12.6 boards per 36 minutes (to JT's 7.5), and end of with the 10 boards for a 10/10 double-double, to Joel's 3 boards?

Tatum really needs some time off..needs to rest, recharge, relax, put the basketball away for a bit. Then hit the gym hard for a couple weeks, get lots of shots up, get his confidence back and get his mechanics working again..and then get into training camp.

Playing on team USA after playing such a long season and playing in the NBA finals (so basically no offseason for him) is backfiring..

I mean, Embiid pretty much sucked lol. Seems like he's been going through the motions all summer.

Playing defense like it’s an all-star game too. In fairness Lebron has starting doing that the last few games too, but I have more confidence in a close game he could flip the switch. JoJo I’m not convinced he could at all.

Other than my Country of the USA, I am pulling for Germany. Main reasons are, My mother is from Germany and Daniel Theis. If Theis once again shines against the USA or anyone along the way. I would be quite bothered If an NBA team doesn't sign him. Sure international BB is NOT quite the same as the NBA but come on.. all the Proof should be on Video that he can still play.

When Theis was with Boston, I hated him as a starter (too short and foul Prone) But as a backup and being able to play inside and/or outside while also being a good defender overall, Theis is more than good enough for someone.

If one of our Bigs Go down (long term) Theis is the first one I want to call.

Tatum's shooting form has looked inefficient to me even when he was making his threes at a good rate in the past. It appeared as if he fixed his form for a short while this past season but then abandoned his new form.

Getting stronger by bulking up could be the reason for that.

Maybe that's why KD never tried to bulk up.

JT is transitioning to become a modern day PF.

Time will tell if his shooting gets fixed.

I just some people have nothing better to talk about. The Celtics are the champs!! Enjoy it. Screw how many minutes Tatum gives or doesn't get.

I still say Lebron and Curry need to sit next to Embiid for the entire game.

So what did Kerr do? He started the 3 worst players (see above) in the game vs Puerto Rico and the USA team was barely playing even with them through the first quarter. There shouldn't be politics on this team.

Of the 3 players I mentioned, Embiid is the only one that's a top 10 player in the NBA. But it was clear in the practice games a few weeks ago that he is either still hurt or out of shape or both. He has no business on this team. Neither do the other 2.
