I know it's not in the rule book, but don't you sort of need to have a big or two, though?

Sure. But you don't sign Vucevic to a four-year deal or trade for Capela who has I dunno how many years left on the deal.
Hand out a 1+1 to whoever wants it from FA bigs available. Play more TimeLord.

Well. The timing seems off now but I kind of like JV.

Vucevic, 1+1 Team option 25-30 mil per season

I'm not seeing Vuc taking that, though. I wouldn't be shocked if ORL or somebody else gave him the big boy max.

If we sign him it's a 1 or 2 year thing.

Be realistic here people. Stop thinking in blind negativity.

Danny would only sign a borderline All-Star right now for a short-term.

If it’s a 2 year deal I’m with that...but that favors Boston why would vucevic do that?

No need to waste both 2nd round pics on players that can't compete in a real nba game decent 1st round horrible 2nd round overall I'll give this draft a d only because romeo and williams will contribute but a need we didn't address and we have no center and I'll add that even vucic won't be good enough. Must resign theis now

We better sign louis king. And Porter and Naz Reid. I dont see why they go undrafted and we pick multiple dudes smaller than me (a fairly average sized out of shape dude).

The Celtics have no centers outside of Williams. They had 4 draft picks. They didn't pick a single center. Instead they drafter a 6'7" power foward and two undersized PGs. Does that sound as crazy it does to me?

Embiid and Giannis is salivating at the prospect of facing our 6’9 and under lineup.

Just surprised we’re not trying to get Russell, we have cap space, he’s available, he’s young, he fills a need..

Why? We were just willing to give 33-year-old Al 3yrs 60M *after* Kyrie left. But we only want a not-yet-29-year-old with a PER of 25.5 who led his crappy team to the playoffs, rebounds, passes, scores from anywhere, shot as well from 3 as Kemba Walker and D'angelo Russell, and had the 9th-best defensive rating in the league last year balancing the roster for JT, JB, and Smart for a year or two at most? Do we not trust these guys to be really good?? I do. Give them an All-Star center and let them go play ball.

Yes. Only makes sense if we have someone lined up or if somehow Danny's crystal ball said they were all busts.
