Doesn't Houston do better when Capela is sitting rather than on the court?

Isn't he a suspect defender vs other centers?

How much better is he than what the Celtics have now?

Question 4: How bad is that heel injury that has kept him out 4 straight games?

Cant see Rich Paul having a client sign here over one of the LA teams.

I think you have to atribute at least some of that to the defense of your teammates.

Last year Kanter was rated 54th, this year 25.
And Portland was far better defensively last season than Houston is this season.

One could argue that if Kanter made a jump of that magnitude, that a defensive center could leap into top 5.

RPM is susceptible to opponents 3P% luck skewing results—PIPM is a much better tool for single season evaluations.

Theis and Kanter can both handle the ball and contribute on offense. Except for catching lobs, Capela has few offensive skills and he is barely a 50% free throw shooter. No thanks.

If the clippers make a move for a big I think Paul would put him wherever he would get the most opposite to build up his value on his next deal. It’s really a moot point as I don’t see Tristan getting bought out

Looks like we’re in the convo. One of Theis and Kanter, Langford and the Grizz pick is my guess

Oh boy. Woj bomb.

Kanter, Langford, Poirier?

Would really like to keep Enes. He's been such a great help off the bench, and so likable, but we're likely not going to re sign him. He'll command more than what he's getting this year, so I can understand parting from him in favor of a future center who has a fantastic salary.

I'm not ready to move on from either Theis or Kanter...but if we have to trade one of both, I hope it's Kanter, as much as I love him.

Guys, Houston isnt going to want Kanter over Theis. And we probably will want Kanter for his bench scoring.

Theis, Langford, TimeLord and our pick is my guess.

I’m gonna guess it’s Theis going out. Fills the void left by Capela for them and they can use Romeo and picks to flip for Covington. Kanter can still come off the bench and do Kanter things. Poirier just in there to make the money work, not relevant as a player

disagree because its houston. They seemingly always choose offense and offensive rebounds from Kanter would be great for WB and Harden

Exactly. They want to get rid of the non shooting traditional big to fit the style of play they have now with Westbrook

He’d clog the lane for Westbrook- he also doesn’t shoot. Theis is at least a threat to hit a 3. Capela and Westbrook together is 2 non shooters on the court- Houston doesn’t want that exact problem

I think Kemba/Jaylen/Hayward/Tatum/Capela/Smart can give the Bucks one hell of a series.

Team would be loaded with Capela.

Kemba/Brown/Hayward/Tatum/Capela

Smart/Wanamaker/Semi/Kanter/FA or trade

Makes sense that 3 teamers are being thrown around because I do not see the 1:1 fit with our assets/contracts and Houston at all since they are so averse to adding $ and we'd be getting into chipping away at an already thin rotation of actual rotation players.
