I'm still hoping they get Kai Sotto even as undrafted.

Class seems deeper and deeper the more I research. I’m confident we can get a talented high upside draft and stash like last year

Wish we could buy/trade for second-round picks.

In terms of individual prospects my first tier is: Gabriele Procida, Vince Williams, Gabe Brown.
My second tier is Trevion Williams, Fabian White, Moussa Diabate, Michael Foster.
But like I've said multiple times in this thread just pick a draft and stash at 53 and then whomever is still available from that list as an UDFA.

We can we just need someone willing to unload picks, check out my post on the previous page for the most likely trade partners.

I really like Christian Koloko (he'd be a perfect backup/fill-in for TimeLord), but we'd have to trade up to get him. I'm kind of shocked that most mock drafts still have him as an early 2nd round pick, I would think he'd be a solid 1st round pick.

creeping up my wish list:

Aminu Mohammed
Vince Williams Jr

Aminu is going to be a real player in this league IMO. With Marcus and White lined up long term, our needs are elsewhere, but I really like what I'm seeing from him.

He seems like a first round talent to me...

Buying a pick seems doable and yes It seems like this draft is very deep. 2nd rd picks are very cheap salary wise and I wouldn't be opposed to drafting 3 of them and hoping we can land that one real gem.. If they all flop, not much lost..

Make it happen Brad!! or should I say Wyc??

just looked him up.. Seems too talented to last to 53 unless we buy/move up.. love size and athleticism potential. Though he can spell RW but don't think he can play alongside RW.

There's no way in hell he lasts to 53. He is projected by most to be a very early 2nd round pick, maybe a late 1st round pick.

Good list. I also like UConn's Tyrese Martin.

Most of you guys are targeting wings (my Favorite position) .. and I don't mind, but there better be a good FA pickup at Big or next season may be a disaster at center..

meanwhile here is the current list of FAs as of now..

https://www.spotrac.com/nba/free-agents/

just centers

edit - wouldn't mind Isaiah Hartenstein.. the bigger better version of Theis IMO. still young (24)
Have no idea what the market will be for him..

Good point, I line him too. Will get get a full MLE contract? Will the Celtics have the MLE or the Taxpayer MLE exception available to sign a free agent?

There's definitely going to be first round talent available at 53. Scouting so important this year...

Take a look at Jamaree Bouyea. Serious big PG ability. Could step in and play right away.

He's not even on some draft boards....crazy.

Here's another PG who looks pretty good:

21 yrs old. From Germany.

Matched up vs Yam Madar in the world cup qualifiers a few months ago - Hollatz outplayed Madar by a little bit. Hollatz had 2 clutch 3's to seal the win for Germany.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Is a rumor of Nesmith getting dealt for a 2nd rounder.

According to an anonymous GM who spoke with Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, the Celtics could use Aaron Nesmith as a chip to trade into the 2022 NBA Draft.

“They gave away their pick last year, they don’t have a pick this year and they’re looking at the luxury tax, so, yeah, they’d like to have a chance to get back into the draft if they can, get guys contributing on rookie contracts,” the GM revealed. “But the only chip they have for that is (Aaron) Nesmith and he is not going to get you a first-rounder at this point. So, they’ll look at prospects but realistically they’re going to look at second-rounders. They could try to buy a pick there but there’s no real path into the first round for them.”

Aaron Nesmith has very little market value, so a 2nd rounder might be the best we can do for him. If they could get an early 2nd round pick to select somebody like Christian Koloko, I would jump on it.
