omg YES it is a popular vote so posters can get on record with their take on trading JB for KD. Specifically because 15 years later we still struggle with who felt what about trading Al Jefferson for KG (a scenario that has some similarities and some differences).

As reiterated with the comedian fairly often, many of us feel the board is better when people establish a position and own it later.

That is all I’m doing with this thread. Some have probably abstained (might be on the fence), many no doubt are on vacation from the board, and at least you seem to be revoting to try to muddy the results, which could be an opportunity for you to reflect on whether or not you have coping skills to deal with people having a different opinion than you do.

But it seems a slight majority of Celtics fans do not want to trade JB for KD. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen, nor are many of us under the delusion that what we vote about this or post about this on this message board is going to influence Celtic management. Just registering opinions about a possible trade opportunity.

Once camp starts we ain’t trading Jaylen. That’s an offseason trade. Most likely scenario is KD stays and to be transparent I have voted once and am having fun.

Btw all the deals I personally have pushed seriously again are for james harden, kawhi Leonard, KD and Anthony Davis. Not one of those guys is “garbage” at all. Don’t be a hypocrite. It’s ok to have a Jaylen fetish but at least be factual here. The worst deal I ever considered was beal if and only if Jaylen had to be included and that was primarily when beal had multiple years on his deal.

We are all working off opinion and we all have the same access to the news. To pretend otherwise and to imply that those that disagree with you are naive was just arrogance. By the way, Lowe and Washburn are two on your list that have said clearly on their podcasts that they weren’t sure at all if this was an actual offer or just a phone call because the Celtics front office isn’t telling anybody.
