I admit that was tasteless to make light of an injury….. but I was responding to you so having no taste or class is most appropriate.

As far as the Nets playing well this season - I said from day 1 the Nets best play was to keep the team they had together because it was a legit contender when healthy (I expected more from Simmons to be honest). I still stand by my contention that KD at age 34 has slipped and is not good enough relative to the rest of the league to will a team to the finals single handedly like he almost did 2 years ago. Brown is exceeding what I expected when we hashed out this trade this summer and KD is playing exactly as I said he would ….he is breaking down a little just as I said…..and he will come up short in playoffs just as aging superstars on the barely perceptible decline always do.

He’s breaking down to the point where’s playing at an mvp level and one of his best seasons ever…….

If he comes up short in the playoffs - like an ecf or a hard fought 2nd round out that’s a testament to how good he is not because he failed.

Like last year we will see what happens when he misses games. Last year they fell apart entirely. Btw who wills their team entirely to the finals? Jordan didn’t even

Kevin Durant age 32 does…..but luckily for the Bucks his toe touched the line. Unfortunately for all of us fans, 2 more years and 2 more knee injuries has brought him down from best to merely top 5. Kind of like Larry Bird in 1988. It’s simply why not one team in NBA offered up a Jaylen Brown caliber player to get him after Nets used Woj and Sham to try to drum up interest.

Lots of great players have great seasons in their twilight years. Larry Bird 1988 comes to mind. It’s simply why you don’t trade 25 years old stars for 33 year old superstars.

No no one wills their team to the finals alone….not bird, not 32 year old KD, not lebron, not curry, not Giannis. It doesn’t happen. And it’s exactly why no team in the nba offered up a Jaylen brown talent except the team with Jaylen brown…..

Well thank goodness for KD fans like yourself that he has Kyrie and Simmons. Enjoy the Nets title run this year. They even have a good shot at a scheduled win tonight even without KD. I guess I’ll just have to make do rooting for Jaylen.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I’m a Celtics fan. Just not delusional. In fact don’t even like KD that much as a personality and am much more partial to how Jaylen conducts himself off the court. KD is way too sensitive on Twitter and other spaces for me. However as a basketball player ? Night and day in an entirely different planet than Jaylen.

It should be considered progress however that you acknowledge the nets now considering a month ago before your hiatus you discredit his amazing play because they were a 7th seed.

Contrary to his fan base JT loves JB:
“We’re still far from as good as we can be and will be, together and individually,” Jayson Tatum says of he and Jaylen Brown.

Sounds like he's saying Jaylen's gotta pick it up. 8-)

Even though he has scored the 5th most points in NBA this season, there must be at least 40 players as good or better!

Casuals love them some scoring!! Look at who was guarding him lol. He regularly is guarded by the opposing team’s worst defender and most of the defense is geared towards Tatum. LOTS of guys can score in this league given the high usage Jaylen has like Beal, McCollum, Sexton, LaVine, Green, Edwards, Kyrie, DeRozan, etc.

But listen, you all SHOULD be defensive about him and shameless fanboy apologists. He’s a Celtic and you’re fans. Maybe us “haters” should just leave you to it

You should probably sit this one out when you claimed Westbrook, RJ Barrett, and Kyle Lowry were all better than Brown coming into this season.

Do yourself a favor and stop embarrassing yourself on this site lil bro

Let's be honest KD is a douche, although not quite Kyrie level but the point is they're good for each other. Heck throw Simmons in there.

The comparisons of Jaylen to KD are just unfair, despite the rumors of a swap back in the summer. I don't know why we keep talking about this anyway, it was never gonna be a 1 for 1 swap. Clearly KD is the better player, that is not even a debate.

How many days in a row Jaylen with no TO's? I think it's newsworthy.

This was my hopes before the season, and Jaylen and Brogdon haven’t even really got in sync yet. The net rating may not stay that high, but I expect them to get more and more comfortable playing together, which will let Tatum rest a bit more.

Jake Fischer said this on Jaylen on his pod with B Robb at the 33:30 mark:

Anytime I've ever asked anybody about Jaylen and Boston, it's that Jaylen Brown loves Boston, he loves being a Celtic, he wants to be a Celtic.

He said we've been very quiet. Said that teams have wondered about Pritchard but that PP still has fans in the coaching staff and FO.

Also that his only tip about us was that we were trading Vonleh
