They (as in both the Celtics and himself) **** Timelord's knee up for that finals run. Probably going to derail his career. Such a fun player to watch too

This is why I was perplexed when people were saying we shouldn’t have traded Rob.

Anyway, fingers crossed this is Rob’s last major injury.

With the Rob news, Heat fans probably coming out of the woodwork to insist they had a better package for Dame lololol.

That's without getting into the impact he's had in other countries (for instance +220% league pass subscription in France compared to last season). I'm sure NBA management will manage to cry themselves to sleep over all the millions they are making by promoting that kid.

Which will all be negated soon enough when the realization of them being a lottery team kicks in.

You sure about that ?

Those early ratings in week 1 for Wemby have died down a bit in week 2.

Victor Wembanyama's 38-point game against the Suns on NBA TV averaged 580,000 viewers, down from last year's 658,000 viewers for the Heat-Warriors.

So sad for Rob. I almost felt like it was going to be that he'd be healthy after we traded him...our luck and all.

Anyways hope our guy gets better again and finds some way to stay healthy...

well, no one has been healthy on new teams that were injury-riddled with us. Hay, Kemba, or Rob. I could be forgetting some guys. :dontknow:

Some have been "healthy" with other teams but they never got back to their previous peak level. IT, Hayward, Bradley (?), even Kyrie (but he's kinda different).

Nah. The doctors said it was a 4-6 week timeline, He came back after 7 weeks.

And you can't blame the Celtics when Rob has been injury prone since HS. It's the main reason why he fell to the 27th pick in the draft, despite the fact that experts said he was a top 5 talent in the draft.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

It4 hasn’t been healthy, because he never recovered. Has a new normal. Bradley stayed injured every season too. Hayward? He hasn’t had a healthy season since.

Kyrie was healthy with us that last season, just tanked his way out. Kyrie derailed a season because of Covid but other times he was injured for the nets. I don’t remember if he was healthy with Dallas last season but this is like 4-5 seasons later.

All of them had just as many injury absences with us as they have after. IT4 could be the closest but he wasn’t really missing games for us until the trade season.

Eh I'm not blaming anyone. He played injured during that playoffs and everyone was OK with the risk. He barely played last season because of that

And I thought CP's 10:1 A:TO was already absurd.
