Minny/Spurs trade is an interesting idea moving forward. They're one of those teams who has more draft picks than they do available rotation/roster spots over the next few years. There are a few teams like that.
I wonder if there might be more opportunities in the coming years to make trades like that. Give up a future pick for a player now.

I really hate Reed pick at 3. I really think the NBA length and size will overwhelm him.
I also think Hal is wrong about Holland. He has to be…..because Detroit picked him.
Ainge has done it again with steal of the draft in Cody.

"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

edit: nevermind lol
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

That's all it took to get that high? I guess Wolves have more crash and burn potential than the Cs, but I would have done that easily. Not taken Dillingham, but still.
look at ages, edwards will be all they have in 5 years.
NAME ON THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!)

I am probably really wrong since I didn't' look at the top guys much, but Cody Williams feels like a bust to me.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at with crash and burn. Plus Spurs already have one of our lotto tickets. Makes me jelly, though, I can't lie.

Ehhh, 7 years from now KAT will be 35 and Gobert will be out of the league. Who knows what those will be.
Exactly! KAT could be injury prone too by then. Spurs knows what they're doing.

Woah, that's a huge trade for the Wolves man.
Arguably the best team in the western conference just added arguably the best prospect in this draft class, for basically nothing.
Woah.
Wolves are gonna be tough.
It'll work out good for them. Conley starts, Dillingham off the bench for year 1. By year 2, Conley too old to start and Dillingham moves into starting lineup..him and Ant in the back court could be scary in a few yrs..

I was a recent convert to Matas fandom. Bulls took him, so maybe I was right beforehand.

You study the draft a lot. I'm curious... how would you have felt about us making this trade. Giving up 2031 1st and 2030 swap. Would you think it's worth it?
