My wife's water broke last night at 3am. I haven't slept, and she's still in labor. I've still been checking this board hoping for a Durant update...
Obviously my first unborn child is my priority, although I just realized how much time has passed today/and this story line has helped it pass.

He just wants to say a proper goodbye. OKC deserves as much.

I think 165bows deserve higher on this list and to be on a tier all his own. Given my long winded posts and the cases I have made for KD signing with the Celtics, I deserve higher as well but significant points off for me since I lowered the Celtics chances after OKC did better than expected and GSW blew it. But I truly did probably nail the final 3 contestants(OKC, GSW, BOS) in the KD sweepstakes. I was hoping Boston entered the sweepstakes with OKC looking worse and GSW having one the championship kind of taking them out of the picture.
165Bows with his continuous optimism does deserve to introduce KD in his first Garden game and get front row seats!
Now if Miami somehow wins out, I deserve to move to last place.
I'm a made man on here if KD comes to Boston, I've been in on this since 2013 lol.
I haven't been to many games lately since I've got a couple young kids and just am not getting out much right now. But I did get to see KD in maybe 2009 sitting directly behind the Celtics' bench, whatever the last year was before OKC got good. Was close enough to reach out and grab Ty Lue's shoulder.

More on that here: http://www.normantranscript.com/sports/kevin-durant-s-biggest-risk-in-signing--year-deal/article_0b2997b8-4139-11e6-bb4d-bb2be360555a.html
I thought he was going to sign a 1+1 regardless of who he signed with?
There is one final scenario: Durant signs a "1+1" elsewhere in 2016, then re-ups with his new team on a four-year deal in 2017. However, doing this actually costs Durant a good deal of long-term money. Due to an odd quirk in the CBA, Durant's new team would need cap space to sign him to a full maximum contract. If they don't have cap space, the team can only sign him to a four-year deal with a first-year salary that's up to 120 percent of his $26.6 million salary in 2015-16.

I wouldn't worry aout it, whata he in a hurry for? May as well give them every opportunity. This is a huge decision.

Lol I'm imaging you running out of the hospital room yelling **** yeah we did, and everyone saying congratulations on being a father and then you saying "huh? We just got Durant!"
