I was looking for two good sandwiched home games to make my annual trip up. Didn’t want to fly my first born on his first Christmas to watch us slaughter Philly.

Friday Nov 16 vs Toronto
Saturday Nov 17 vs Utah

Looks like a damn winner.

That's by design. If we played them in November, we'd murder them. Playing them after the trade deadline at least gives them a chance to build chemistry, and maybe they might have traded for another All-Star by then.

Wait, in Canada Jesus Christ is not allegedly born on the 25th on December?

No. Christmas is delayed by a day because Santa has to go through customs when he crosses the border

I counted 10 B2B. Is that correct? We have 2 sets in the last 10 games or so. I wonder how that stacks up with other contenders?
I went through the schedule. I am seeing 82-0, or 81-1 at worst.

Something I notice, right off.
Celtics only have 12 Back-to-Backs.

Some teams had as many as 20, a few years.
Adam Silver and Michele Roberts, are light years ahead of their predecessors.

Basketball should have long been the #1 Sport; at least in the U.S.
Association Football (aka Soccer) is always going to be #1, in the World.

Wouldn't call Kawhi an "All-Star". Seems like a broken mute who does what his uncle says to do, and his uncle didn't tell him to play well with the Raptors.

Kawhi to the Lakers for Pope and Rondo and the media give Toronto the Executive of the Year award.

A different schedule. The Portland visit used to often be at the trade deadline.

April 1 and 3 will be fun for all.

March 6 and 14 are big for a draft pick.

Seem to be on national TV a bit more than when Dino played.

Mean NBA TV people, they scheduled a meaningless game at Utah last season so a few people could yell at someone, and he didn't get there so they are scheduling it again this time.

Hosting Lakers is day of the trade deadline.

Every game against lowly Toronto is on the big TV schedule, what a waste of time, trying to build up that franchise by making fans watch as the Celtics are also there to see.

It is absolutely ridiculous that there are only four preseason games.

The league said teams will average 13.3 back-to-backs

So we are about 1 less back to back instance than everyone else.

Cancel that NBA league Pass, boys. It is worthless this year, as they don't carry nationally televised games.

To think just a few years ago in 13-14 we had only 2 televised games. Can't forget where we came from

Yeah pretty funny by the NBA. Celtics play 6 Games in 9 days against: Toronto, Washington, Portland, Houston and Golden State. Toss in a trip across the country and on that 9th day schedule a game against a team whose draft pick you hold.

Apparently Adam Silver does have a sense of humor.

If the coaches had their way there would be 0-2 games. Most find them to be a useless waste of time.

When you add NBATV games in, we have 39 televised games by my count.
