Hayward could be used in both detroit and orlando. Perhaps interest from portland, washington

Orlando deal would be gordon, ross and bamba
For
Hayward, poirier and wannamaker. Perhaps a protected first from boston.

Orlando would be hayward, poirier, wannamaker and a pick for drummond, wood or thon maker.

Washington would involve bryant and mahinmi
Portland would involve nurkic, bazemore and litle

Also see memphis liking hayward.
Iggy, clarke, josh jackson works for hayward.
Would have to be a three team deal though with iggy going elsewhere imo.

Psssstt.... Hayward is a really good basketball player who is returning to pre-injury form and is a big reason why this team is good.

Unless Smart is hot.. who can we count on to get bucket? If you're telling me Carsen will start hitting shots, then this could be moot. We'll see.

We definitely need the Bench to score more. Moving Hayward there would help.
The following isn't likely to happen. But, I'd like to see something like this.:

Kemba - Brown - Tatum - Theis - Kanter
Edwards - Smart - Hayward - G. Williams - R. Williams

Seems like an idea worth checking out. When Edwards loses the yips, and we know he can shoot the heck out of it, so it's coming, this second unit will be able to score okay, I think, and defend pretty well.

Hayward and a pick, for Drummond works too.
Semi, Wanamaker and possibly Poirier could/would/should go somewhere else.

Those ideas are wildy different in terms of value coming back. Yeah, Orlando might pay a bit more, because they're more likely to push "win now" and also because they're more likely to appreciate the marketing benefits of having a star who's a white Trump supporter. But that doesn't explain all of the gap.

If ORL is in win-now mode, I don't see them trying to flip Gordon and Ross.

And let's leave the politics side of it alone, please. Always a slippery slope.

Huh? Jackson is worthless. Iggy you suggest isn't valuable. Clarke is a nice prospect, but so is the much more highly drafted Bamba.

Well, the problem with Bamba is bad at the game of basketball. Like really bad. Like will be out of the league in 3 years if he wasn't 7ft tall.

Let’s trade a good player for a couple mediocre players because we need size. Uh what?

Semi for Harry Giles?
Doesn't seem like the Kings want him.

But if he is surprisingly good a team that trades for him won't be able to resign him.

With the exception of Wannamaker, Porier and Semi, I want the team roster to stay as is. Maybe if you trade those 3, you could get a big that plays decent enough to be our 3rd string rotation.

Yep that’s the only players I would look at trading.
Look at seeing if we can get Christian Wood for one of them.

Cheers...wasn't aware the restrictions came with him if he's traded.
I guess it's the sort of fringe deal I'd consider. Otherwise just sit pat.
