Instantly puts us in luxury tax hell, but it’s not my money, so absolutely in a second. I’ll even throw in a first. Cleveland wouldn’t though.

Trading Gordo with the gimpy leg for a legit front-court presence should be priority number one.

What is wrong with his foot again? He feels pain but they don't know what is wrong is what they said last time. If I believed in curses I would think Utah cursed Hayward. Never mind the fact they used IT to recruit him and then traded him.

I think its a bit dirty of hayward to even say publically what he said.

Should keep that stuff in house. Why do anything to lower your own value. Like he is hurting himself too by lowering potential future contract.

Just stupid

Probably won't help with his trade value. Something to consider for those including him in fake trades.

:nonono: :banghead:. Like i said before we're stuck with him for better or for worse.

He's likely to opt out this summer. No equivalent trade value, but not "stuck" with him, either.

With his injury issues, would he really opt out of $34 million?

I would be shocked if he opts out esp with the foot problems. Only a few teams have max cap space this summer and they are rebuilding teams.

Teams are required to some extent to reveal medical/health status of players they're trading. Teams trading for them will also conduct their own medical tests before trade becomes official. We are not fooling anyone if there's really something wrong with his foot.

It was not a smart comment from Hayward.

Cavs were desperate to make that trade. Ours was the best offer available because of the Brooklyn pick. We divulged all the medical info we had. Cleveland only made it appear that we didn't in order to extract additional assets. It was up to the Cavs to make a thorough testing before they agreed to the trade.

He was likely asked that specific question about how his foot is impacting his game. So what was he supposed to answer? Was he supposed to lie?

Feel like there isnt really any Hayward trades that makes us better.

We need to get more depth. We have enough talent in top 6.

Or it was a smart comment from Hayward if he does not want to be traded. He's not a dumb guy. He knows the impact his comments have.

Sacramento wouldn't. Hayward can opt out. Carsen and Semi are jags.

If he doesn't suffer a major injury, there is a 100% chance that he will opt out.

As healthy as he is right now? Yes, no question he opts out. I'd love to resign him to like 3 years, $90m.

That would be a terrible use of capspace.

Team would have 4 players at or near 30 million with no chance of winning a championship.

Would be a completely terrible move. Terrible.

First of all, that's Jaylen.

Second, what's your plan?
