Ainge has to tweak the roster some.

Brad has to be tougher.

The Jays were exhausted down the stretch of that game, I’m proud of them for how they played these playoffs.

Kemba, get that knee fixed, I don’t care if you have to miss half of next season to get that thing healthy.

Quit clogging up the bench with garbage, Ainge. Feel free to actually get veterans...you know, guys that actually belong in the NBA and know how to play in the playoffs.

I'm afraid Hayward has to go. It's just not meant to happen for him here, unfortunately. He'll be an expiring and we have a lot of picks. Gotta make something happen, Danny. Either get a Bradley Beal or massively improve our depth and center position.

Also, hopefully Rob Williams can stay healthy and make big strides next season.

Can't have Smart taking that many shots.

Brad still has some growth.

Ainge needs to add some depth.

Captain_Caveman wrote:Hats off to this team. They were dead and buried nationwide after Kyrie and Horford left, and disrespected even after that. They went further than people should have reasonably thought with such a young core and they fought to the end. A 12-point loss tonight was their worst since losing by 15 on January 26th vs the Pelicans -- a game that Tatum didn't even play.

That's a stretch of 45 games never losing by more than 11 points. They were in every game, and always battled.

Respect.

Agree. You can’t expect to win a championship being so weak in the middle and having no bench. They fought and went as far as they probably should have gone

No, it's not all on Ainge. There's lots on Ainge. But there's lots on Stevens' shoulders too. He was outcoached two series in a row.

Because the players don’t listen to Brad! Same thing happened last year! A bunch of 3pt chuckers!

That has happened to a lot of coaches and they are all the coaches who don't win!!! If your stars aren't listening to you then his voice isn't strong enough! you cannot choose CBS over Tatum!! Tatum said the dude isn't a leader, he didn't even sugar coat it by saying the best leader, he said he isn't a leader PERIOD! Called dude an XOs coach!! i don't care what people say about the coaches not being important, that's BS! There is a reason LBJ made them fire Blatt, while Blatt is a championship coach overseas, LBJ didn't think he was the right fit!! If coaches really didn't matter, why was Blatt sent packing before the playoffs? Coaches aren't more important nor equally as important but they are very important!!

Couldnt have said it better.

His disappearing act today in the 4th might be even worse than the players starting chucking 3s. He let Theis get abused by Adebayo 4 times straight, why didnt he call to play zone then? No challenge on that Iggy charge?? He is unable to make any adjustments during the game for 7 years now and he lets Jaylen Brown getting almost injured every other game without tearing the refs about it. He has assistant coach written all over him, and I am afraid he will be the reason this amazing young core of Tatum, Brown and Smart will never achieve anything as long as he's coach. I'm done with this guy...

Oh, and congrats to Miami, they deserved it 100%, they are the better team...

Sad way to end the season.

Not sure how Ainge can look back at this and tell to himself: "Yeah, what an investment Kemba is!". We are talking about sub 40% shooting and constant abusing on defense. He was basically useless out there and wasn't much of a factor the entire playoffs. The entire Raptors series he had to tell how **** he was and that he got carried. Then he comes out and lays even bigger egg the next series. He offers nothing a guy like Hardaway couldn't.

Hayward is just a god damn teddy bear out there. Zero fire and fight in him. Just gliding around the court or standing in the corner.

Is this how Ainge wants to spend almost $70M per year!?

Smart is fine as long as he's kept in check. But her you go another night, another 20FGA and 13 3PA by him. But still, Cs wouldn't even get this far without him. Can't say the same about Kemba.

0 complaints about Tatum, Brown. How much do they need to carry Kemba and Hayward!?

Just sort this roster out Ainge ffs! Walker and Hayward is not what Tatum, Brown, Smart need around them.

Sigh... End of my return rant.

If we can get CP3 for a Kemba, I don’t see how we can turn that down.

I ain't mad we lost. Heat showed they're the better team. Loved the team this year and i'm more excited for next year with what Ainge is gonna do to fix our holes.

C's UP!

2020-2030 Will be our championship contending years.

Its crazy he has been here like 16 yrs 1 title. Other gms g in Boston get fired with ton more success.

Do me a favor and look up how many other franchises even have 1 more title.

This is absurd.

Ainge is at least a top 5 GM right now and pulled out another miricale getting to the ECF with a team that lost in free agency

Kyrie Irving
Al Horford
Aaron Baynes
Terry Rozier
Marcus Morris

All who are starters or 6th men for their new team. He lost an entire team, 2 of them all-stars, and didn't lose a beat. Any other team misses the playoffs after that.

Still hate Pat Riley, but at least this Heat team is fairly likeable. Guess I will have to go all in on rooting for them to defeat LA as we couldn’t get there ourselves.

A Butler jersey will be bought if they do it.

This one hurts ain't gonna lie, but how about sorta copy the heat by looking at there roster tall shooters and and good center in Bam. We got out classed in the draft last year don't do it again this year! Great season nope it wasn't but I'm proud of most of this team. My mvp this year is Tatum. Brown then smart!
