it seems they won't use it though. need the salary gone to use the mle and hayward or his replacement.
Did they have 2 different deals lined up based on Kanter opting in/out? They only had to eat Hezonja at 2mil, so it shouldn't effect the draft compensation that much right?

Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

My first idea was I would walk 500 Myles. But jirrit is correct. TP to him for the better title.

Future pick considerations...... Is this baseball or what? How about a prospect to be named later.

i dunno, i'm still kinda at myles turner is overpaid and underwhelming.
he's like the anti-theis, puts up stats but does none of the dirty work.
still, it's a solid return for gordon.

Triple7 wrote:Wood at the 4, and Turner at the 5, would be amazing for us. Lot’s of flexibility with that lineup. Those two, together with Tatum and Brown, would cover up any weaknesses of Kemba defensively. Plus every guy can create on his own. Make that happen Danny!
Something like:
Kemba (30) - Smart (10) - Pritchard (8)
Brown (22) - Smart (18) - Romeo (8)
Tatum (20) - Brown (10) - Nesmith (18)
Wood (20) - Tatum (16) - Grant (8)
Turner (28) - Wood (10) - Theis (10)
?

Yep heard you loud and clear
*sigh*
Really thought kanter would be up in the rafters one day.
Time to change the avatar. Will think of something special once we know what’s happening.

Lets go with a good ol german local small town brewed beer should have a better effect, as a coffee addict a cup or two wont do s**t.

I was just going to say I would walk 500 Myles, but adding Wood is even better.

That's my stance, I'm more excited that we don't lost Gordon for nothing and probably end up with a better balanced roster than I am excited about Miles Turner himself, he's been underwhelming his whole career.

Re: Trade Thread #6: I Wood Walk 500 Myles
Everyone knows this but Zach Lowe on the jump just said Indiana and Boston has been talking trades for days now.
One nugget he dropped which I didn't like was him saying that he thinks "Indiana was smart to wait for Hayward to opt out because now Hayward leaving for nothing is a possibility for Boston and that gives Indiana more leverage in trade talks"

Anti-Theis is pure comedy gold.

Stop. Turner can shoot for a big. Hes solid.
No he isn't. His PNR defense is substandard and he can't rebound his way out of a wet paper bag. Mark Blount 2.0.
