IT complained about getting help, Kyrie barked about adding vets. How long before Tatum chimes in?

Ainge isn't making him play the double big lineup, or yank our best player early in the first, splitting him into two shorter stints, and breaking up any chance at him hitting a rhythm. It's leaving us trailing early in every game. However, Ainge has been equally bad.

Rob is our most exciting player and Brad basically had to be forced at gunpoint to play him.

The bloom is definitely off that rose

You’re not winning anything when Semi Ojeleye is such a key reserve that he’s been a frequent starter for the entire season.

This is Ainge’s design. He’s sat on his hands for four years ever since the Kyrie disaster.

Enough is enough. It’s clear the man is past his prime. Bring Masai Ujiri over here and let’s get some new blood into this franchise.

Nah. Danny did his job. Two under-25 All-Star Wings. One All-NBA. One of the best young bigs in the League. 4-time All-Star guard. All-Defensive guard.

And we have the worst offense in the league, especially in crunch time given our talent. Time for Brad to feel the heat. He's done a terrible, horrific job this year, no question.

Brad's crunch-time offense isn't great, but it doesn't help that he has ZERO talent to work with outisde of the Jays.

OUR BENCH HAD ZERO THREES TONIGHT!!!!!!! ZERO!!!!!!

This is what I’ve been saying all year. Yes Stevens has not been good this year but the roster is absolute garbage. No coach is taking this team anywhere. There will be time to judge Stevens fairly. I don’t think it’s this year. There is no where to turn the roster is filled with very young inexperienced players and garbage

Danny could restock the bench but top-end talent wins on the L and Brad has had plenty of it during his tenure.

He just sucks a** at coaching legit talent

Brad Stevens has not done good this year but no coach in the NBA would add more than 2-3 wins with this team. It’s garbage

I wonder if the people who were against Harden are having second thoughts?

Like I said earlier, if they traded for Harden it would have forced Danny’s hand to go win now. But instead he didn’t take the risk, and now very well could just stand pat once again.

They’ll never admit bc half of them are the same people who said he doesn’t pass and his defense hadn’t improved at all. They haven’t watched him. They followed a narrative of him or saw him play 2x a year against us

I was 50/50 on the Jaylen for Harden trade. I would not have been super pissed if the trade happened. I would just be a little worried about Harden potentially leaving when his contract is up but the celtics would be a huge threat for a title depending on if Ainge made other moves. But **** at this point are brown and Tatum even going to stay with this garbage roster around them once their contract is up? Danny is off to as bad of a start as you could be as a gm once Tatum signed his contract.

Anyone just blaming one of Brad/Ainge is being silly. Both have not done a good job, same for the players. Obviously Tatum and Jaylen have done what they can, but they’ve also had their own issues playing within the offense.

It’s an everyone and everything problem, the worst kind.

I know having Harden on this team would have made us a contender, but I for one am still happy Ainge didn't get him. My being the biggest Jaylen fan has something to do with it, but also because I just can't stand Harden's style of play. Call me delusional or crazy, but that's just how I feel. The thought of rooting for Harden makes me cringe even to this day, I don't care how he's made the Nets the favorite to win it all.

Reminds me of a friend who was a Houston fan before, then just quit supporting the team altogether when Morey traded for Dwight Howard, whom he hated as a player. I probably wouldn't stop supporting the Celtics, but there would still be some disgust in my stomach seeing Harden in a Celtics uniform

Danny has delivered Brad the best young core in the league.

NOPE. I said what I said. When we beat them in the playoffs then ask this question.

You the best.

Whenever we try to blame someone for this mess of a season, another person catches strays. That's how disappointing this season has been.

A large part of this roster is filled with G-Leaguers.

You can’t really blame Stevens or the stars when their supporting cast is scrubs.

Of course guys could do “more” but there’s only so much that can be done when our depth may be worst in the league.

I don’t understand how some still think the main issue is anyone but Ainge

It's hard to pick one. But when so many issues are popping up, usually the guy to blame first is the man at the top. I think Danny himself admitted it. Question now is, what's he gonna do about it?
