No that stretch before the trade deadline he showed he could play when given some run, Brad should not have stopped giving him PT.

yeah everyone talks about Perk but my man JUMBLIN would get the cigar vote from me tonight if they were in the poll!

okay so seriously I've watched this team for 35 years and I never thought I'd see 60 points from a Celtic. Never crossed my mind with Pierce or even IT, who came closest. And Tatum should've had 61 on that 'no continuation' play, but honestly glad he didn't, needs something to keep shooting for.

AND YET this is perhaps my favorite line of the night:
S. Ojeleye PF DNP-COACH'S DECISION

Plus Nesmith MY MAN out there it's a good night for the Irish!

Ah, man... since I'm the only one who will... someone has to talk about how good Marcus was out there. That was peak-TA caliber defense. DeRozan only had two buckets on him in like 20 possessions down the stretch, even though Pop was feeding him as much as we were feeding Tatum. And Demar was struggling harrrrrd on both of those baskets (with questionable calls on both). That was some absolutely next level ****.

THEN CONTINUE TO PLAY HIM BRAD!

Aaron was playing hard earlier in the season, but instead of taking him off the floor, it was more like scrapping him off the floor.

He's starting to be in the right place at the right time, and the motor is still there, so we can expect to see more of Nesmith. I'd be surprised to see him back in Brad's dog house, Aaron is a pitbull that will not be denied!

He's show he's their best in ball defender the last few games. I guess it's not that hard when everyone else gets cooked but still.

So it's official then. Jayson Tatum is equally as good as Larry Bird.

A/TO:

Smart 12/3
Tatum 5/0
Thompso 5/2, and he also had 8 offensive rebounds and 2 blocks
Waters 3/1 in 7 minutes

DeRozan 14/2
Murray 8/2

Nets fan, coming in peace.

Not gonna lie, was shocked by the blowout going on in the first half, and was lurking your board and was reading a lot of depressed posts from you guys.

To pull off a comeback like that and see a 60 point game from Tatum, that's incredible. One of those games you never forget as a fan. Congrats, y'all really should take all the time you want to enjoy this one, games like that don't happen very often.

60 points. Unbelievable performance leading the team to an incredible comeback victory. Tatum with the obvious VC, but, damn, Nesmith suddenly looking like all he was cracked up to be and more.
