It’s frustrating that this core has been trying to win that elusive nba title and the nuggets will beat them to the punch. Nuggets have been good for awhile now as well.

The Nuggets have probably the best player on the planet, a #2 guy who fits perfectly with their best player, both have been playing together for a long time now - they've had the same head coach forever and have faced easier opponents this postseason than the celtics.

If they win it, good for them. It would be their first ever NBA title. We already have 17.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Yeah, that's not true. Fans only have to cheer for the team or not cheer for them, the rest of the bs we all partake in is extracurricular. I choose to to cheer for them and be optimistic, it doesn't make me any more or less right about what will happen than all our pessimists, none of what we say means f*ck all. It just makes me feel like less whiny, and it costs me nothing.

Down 0-2? Sometimes things just got to go hard.

Believing that they will win the series is just setting yourself up for major disappointment. I don’t like disappointment, so I’ll cheer them on, I’ll have my Celtics jersey on hoping for a miracle but I’ll know in my heart it’s very unlikely that they win it. I just want to make them sweat a little.

That’s an L Mentality man….. win game 3 and we’re back in it!

Betting money on them to win the series and then having them lose would be a major disappointment. Rooting for them costs me nothing, and if they don't win I'll get over it because sports are just entertainment. I care if they win, don't get me wrong, the playoffs I am tense as hell the whole game. I yell in a room by myself multiple times in a game. When the games over though, it's over. There's so much more in life to carry with you than whether one group of millionaires beats another in an athletic contest, there is zero reason to carry angst over a loss. I think it's why I don't argue on the board too much anymore, I just don't understand the amount of vitriol people carry with them.

Jaylen needs to stop being a coward and pull his head out of his ass. Unless he's trying to get a one way ticket out of town which he is doing good job of.

Also if this team has any sense of gumption Butlers little antics after game 2 should light a fire under their asses

Yep, i dont get why they went away from smart completely

I like tatum having the ball alot of times

But not 90% of the time

Lol. Did you watch how the ball went away from smart off his foot? or the two wide open bricks at crunch time?
or the time he went on brogdon’s face, after his awful awful pass that got intercepted?

There isn't an outcome that would actually surprise me tomorrow.. Anything is possible..

But my guess is the Boston Celtics will keep it close and as usual with a few minutes to go won't make enough good plays

I won't give up hope until I am 6' under..

I've lived long enough to have seen anything can happen

But I also am a strong believer you cannot keep repeating the same things over and over again And expect a different result...

Something has to change and change drastically by tomorrow..

Hopefully Brad Stevens told Joe something that may help..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Celtics are winless since Smart traded his green curls for blue beads. He still has time to fix this mess.

Just remember, guys, the Boston Celtics always won a championship with a star big man.

Every Celtic team that won a title since the 1950s always had a HOFer big man.

While I'm not sure the Celtics can beat Jokic and Denver, with the way Denver is playing now, but I'm sure the Celtics can beat these Heat bums.

Lmao dude it’s embarrassing for a historic franchise. Lakers have won more recently compared to the celtics .

Like I said, just because the bums got the first and second punch, that doesn't mean you already lost the fight.

Celtics can still land the knockout punch.

Those same bums dispatched the Bucks like nothing. I think they're a very tough team.

I'm sure the Celtics will have 4 championships by 2123.

Return to Boston Celtics
