Don’t care it’s just a regular season game. We owe them one. Don’t play another dud at home against these guys.

Super-nice person and I wish her the very best, but are you really disappointed that she left? She was a clone of Chloë Grace Moretz but with 1% of the talent and an irritating voice. Abby Chin runs circles around her without even trying.

I’ve still never have recovered from losing Molly McGrath.

I've said it a few times, but the only thing stopping Boston this year will be depth. I think Brad goes out and works some magic at Trade Deadline, but that was the only glaring issue from Opening Night. JB also looked like ass, but I'm not worried about him in the slightest... he's just got to figure out where he fits.

I think we need to see at least a handful of minutes tonight for guys like Svi and Brissett. Reserving judgement under the pretense that it was due to being a close season opener, but 38 minutes is too much this early, especially for KP.

KP is still young.

Some heavy minutes early in the season is good.

I also think Joe needs to put some trust in the bench and let them play a bit. See what you got.

Referees tonight are relatively unknown -- Kevin Scott, Eric Dalen, Brett Nansel -- which might be a good thing.

Cs wearing their home whites. No injuries for Boston. Richardson and Highsmith reported OUT for Miami.

Either a good thing or they’ll have no idea what’s going on and try to over officiate on both sides. Never heard of any of them though so we shall see.

No injuries may be a minor miracle for this franchise.

For me, it's fine to play KP more minutes than usual in certain matchups and against our potential playoff opponents. See how we stack up playing a playoff-type rotation. He should have tons of rest against the weaker opponents. Still hoping he lands closer to 30 mpg (than 34) for the regular season.

EDIT: I liked Brad Stevens' strategy of playing scrubbies in the 2nd Q (though we always complained that we lost leads in 2Q back in the day) then sitting them in the 2nd half. Ultimately, Joe has to trust some of the bench guys to be able to hold their own when called upon.

I’m optimistic on KP’s physical maturity over last couple of years, and he had few injury concerns last year prior to Washington shutting him down to preserve the tank but I can’t say I want to see him averaging over 35 minutes a game during the regular season. We have enough offensive talent where I feel like we can rely on the grind it out guys to hold leads for longer but hoping Joe can also realize that.

5 extra minutes is fine when you consider how many minutes they work out and practice every day. With older players like Al it’s more about days off. However, I do think keeping KP in for entire first quarter drained him and he looked tired in 3rd quarter to me. I understand why he did it - KP was on fire. I think Joe should limit KP and Al to 5-6 minute stints and use the bench more.

I also think Kornet’s value is to backup the other bigs, not to play with them. I would like to see Stevens/Brissett rotate in more as back up PFs.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Brad has to find another big better than Kornet so that KP's minutes per game will be closer to 30mpg than 35mpg.

It's just different when KP is in the paint on defense, opposing players just have a hard time scoring inside when KP is there.

KP is like the combination of all the strengths of the Celtic Centers from last season.

He has the height of Kornet, the offensive abilities of Al, and the defensive presence of Rob.

That's KP in a nutshell.

KP is much more than Al offensively luckily. Much more than a spot up shooter, he really plays much more like a traditional wing that posts on shorter guys, but he just happens to be 7’3. Not great finishing at the rim (unless it’s a dunk) when attacking close outs but otherwise he literally is a wing.

Agree on rim protection. He’s as, if not more impactful at changing shots at the rim. He boxed out well against New York but does get moved quite easily on boards.

I have loved him though. Amazing fit.

I think anyone hoping KP's MPG hovers around 30 will be disappointed. Its just not how the Celtics have operated over the last few years. They rest players by not playing them at all, not by cutting minutes here and there. If a player's playing they get a full workload, for top starters that's 34-38 mpg. I think it makes sense as you would not want a player playing 30mpg suddenly go to 40 mpg in the playoffs.

Al is just a spot up shooter now, but when Al was in his prime, Al was great in the low post.

I should have said prime Al.

While there is a chance the Cs lose this game, it's just a 1% chance.

So the "FIRE JOE" will be just 1%.
