The Celtics executed really well on offense late in the game, matched the Pacers shot for shot, until the 4 point play.

This game was lost because Hali hit an incredible shot.

The game was lost because Boston didn't show up in the third and were outscored by 16.

And despite that, they had a lead with a few minutes to go.

Then the game was lost because Hali hit an insane shot.

I think the lesson here (as with the other games we lost), never lose the lead once you have it.

You can see the panic at times particularly in Derrick white and Horford when they were spazzing with the ball playing 200 mph.

I don’t know how anyone can faith late in games with this team. Time and time you just know they’ll find a way to lose whether it’s bricking on offense with bad shots or letting the other team hit every shot late.

Just hope Porzingis is that difference maker which looked that way when he was out there. Late in games the offense needs to go to him in the post.

You must be a butthurt Smart fan after White made him expendable. All you do is hate on White

Not surprising when you consider the core of Tatum,Brown and Horford have never won anything meaningful here and Mazzulla has no idea how to generate offense when the three isn't falling.

There was one possession where Hield kept trying to cook Sam, but Hauser knew every type of move that a shooter would try.

I don’t want to overreact to what ultimately amounts to a regular season loss but as others have noted, there seems to be a pattern when it comes to our teams that have been built around Tatum and Brown that we don’t have the grit to finish games and advance, which is obviously what you have to do to win a championship.

My gut says it’s time to split up the Jays, I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion but I felt it strong after last playoffs.

If Split the Jays means trade Brown then Yes.. But I fear we can't now due to 300,000,000

Celtics fans are perhaps the most hysterical fanbase in all of professional sports. They lose a game, narrowly, in which they lost the three point battle by over twenty points on the road and everyone goes immediately to "they are doomed."

Its the same thing as last year. If you shoot under 30% from three, and your opponent shooter over 40%, you will likely lose. Its not some indictment on Tatum/Brown especially when they in general played fairly well tonight.

it was White’s two early turnovers to start the 3rd quarter that sent things going in the wrong direction. Very unlike D White. White ended up with 5 turnovers

wtf I hardly criticize white and think at times he’s our second best player

He had a really bad game for his standards.

I said at the time smart got traded for Porzingus, I would do that trade 100/10. I wasn’t impressed with smart mainly because he fell off defensively last season, a lot due to all those injuries he took.
