Nearly impossible task after a back to back and 1 that went to over time and got 3 guys (Yes 1 didn't play the b2b). Played Jaylen over his usual load at 41 minutes.

Tossup between Jaylen and Luke. Went Luke because of Jaylen’s 7 turnovers. He still had a good game though. And how about Luke Kornet??? Making a LOT of people eat some crow. Good. They deserve to.

It's one thing to do that at the start of any 2nd quarter, but the 4th?? that should never happen. But hey at least he called a timeout after only an 18-3 run :D

Slightly annoyed that we can't pull away from the Bucks.

You've turned into "The regular season doesn't matter" Kyrie.

It’s a better comparison than I’d like it to be.

I don’t blame anyone for reacting game to game, it’s normal lol. I just know what this regular season is going to be, for the most part. This team is going to get judged on the playoffs, and their clear Achilles heel was lack of offensive diversity, and crunch time play. They clearly have more offensive diversity, and I think they’ve found their go-to crunch time offense. This whole season is going to be special, but I think the playoffs could be even more so.

I am just happy it isn't a mid-afternoon start time on a Sunday.

Is Luke Kornet an all-star?

I voted White, but almost wish I could change to Kornet so the big guy can get a rare puff.

I think he's tried it against the Hornets before and worked. It's just hard to manage everyone's minutes while having two starters on the floor at the same time when you only have 3 starters available on 2nd night of a B2B. JB already played 40+ minutes.

imo he should have never had white and jrue on the bench at the same time.

Why not 12? Tatum, Porzingis, White, Brown, Holiday, Horford, Hauser, Pritchard, Kornet, Brissett, Stevens, Banton.

Brown was great. Turnovers sure but who cares about turnovers unless they hurt. He didn’t miss many shots which made up for them.

Man - Gritty down to the wire wins VS 2 garbage teams last night & tonight!
Last night - massively outrebounded.
Tonight w 14 TOVs & some idiotic Q4 coaching/line ups by Bubbles when we blew 15 point lead!
We should have won each game by 25 - even W/O MVP, Zinger & Al tonight.

In any case 25-6 is 25-6

#7 shot very well & made plays - but had 7 of our 14 turns = as expected & pathetically consistent!
Pritch & Sam gave us 6 3s!
Luke had best game of his life w 20-8 & 3 blocks!
Both Derrick & Jru shot poorly, but had very nice all around games.

Derrick the All Star w 21-5-7-3-2 more blocks - and was clutch in Q4!

Celtics!
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

It’s a better comparison than I’d like it to be.

I don’t blame anyone for reacting game to game, it’s normal lol. I just know what this regular season is going to be, for the most part. It's in the regular season when they have to work on their previous issues and weaknesses and when they build good habits. In that sense, I think these games matter a ton for me still. I get the change in personnel offers the team more options and outs while increasing our margin for error but that remains on paper until they actually execute. Doing the right things over and over can only help them avoid the same pitfalls in the postseason.

Jrue wasn't supposed to play in the first place. Something about his left arm or elbow or whatever. Still got to play 32 minutes.

100%. The regular season is about building smart process and habits for the playoffs. Wins and losses less important than our approach.

Thusly we're excited about Jaylen's passing tonight despite the turnovers and frustrated with Tatum's dumb threes despite all his other contributions.

The playoffs will come down to 1-2 possessions in most games. Right now the C's are still throwing away too many possessions despite the sexy W-L record. But there's lots of time left to fix that stuff.
