These games have, or might have psychological impacts.
Last year we lost to Nuggets in both games. If we had played against them in the finals, that was going to be a disadvantage.
Cavs rested Mitchell for example. They clearly don't see this like another game.

The Celtics have not played well the last three or four games. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Cleveland blowout.

Boston has looked terrible at home the last couple of games. Cavs score a ton of points in the paint and boston has zero rim protection. I think they can beat the cavs if KP is healthy but not sure I am seeing tonight.

People still have mixed feeling about the Cup thing but I don't really think we want to see our team not even advance to the knockout round and then watch two crappy teams play for a trophy. It's obviously not an NBA Championship but if you're a competitor you want to win everything you can.
