Wolves KAT trade is going to go down of one of the stupidest trades in NBA history.

Now it is official. I mentioned this a month ago. My friend is some sort of Miami insider and told me this. If Miami were to trade him they would be selling low. Don't see what teams can offer Miami in return. They should have traded him last year.

#HEATCULTURE LOL

That's why this guy is a birdbrain. If he wants out, he shouldn't be making it even more difficult for his team to deal him.

Is he though ? Not that I condone that kind of action but by publicly asking for a trade he should be lowering his trade value and making it easier for other teams to pry him out of Miami.

His trade value is already low for multiple reasons (especially his $49,000,000 contract and his age), so it was already difficult for Pat Riley to make anything happen. Plus, the diva had reportedly made it known that he'd like to be traded to certain teams, so he's hoping for Riley to do him a solid. He himself isn't helping his own cause. Riley may end up trading him to a bad team where he'll have to be unhappy for another year (or opt out then sign for a fraction of the money with a team not on his want list, or sign for peanuts with a contender).

They just wanted out of his money. Ant is the showman for Minny anyway. I like Randle, but Donte will be the better piece for Minny to come out of that trade. I'm sure if they had their choice, Rudy would have been the one to go before Kat. Ugly contract to deal with for the next 4 years.

The Ivey loss was bad, but if Detroit can get something going Minny has their 1st round pick protected 1-13. IMO, Detroit is better than 13 teams in the league.

Maybe Detroit will want Springer as a temporary replacement for Ivey.

It’s mind-boggling how amazing he is and it’s not discussed here. We talked about Giannis a lot his first few seasons… probably because we missed out and we chose KO. I’m confused because he’s doing things never been done before and then you add his height? No one??

Is it because people don’t watch the game anymore? I can’t imagine not talking about Shaq if he was playing in this day and age. Maybe it’s because I’m a fan? I don’t want to go to the Spurs boards because I DON’T LIKE THEM!! I don’t dislike them, I’m just a Celtics fan, Idc about other teams or their fans! Matter of fact, if I go there and they talk him up, it might make me dislike him some. I have beef with all fans of other team, they don’t know what they are talking about because you’re crazy if you’re not a celts fan, PERIOD!! :)

I just need one of you to be on the same time as me!! I wonder if he has his own board? Does anyone know?

Uhh... here's Anthony Edwards saying he doesn't want to pass the ball and he has no idea what to do when double teamed.

Edwards had plenty to say after the game about the double teams he was facing. Speaking with reporters, including Dane Moore, Edwards said he wasn't interested in a playing style that required him to pass out of double teams:

"That's a good brand of basketball, but it's not how I want to play, of course. I'm only 23, I don't want to just be passing the ball all night. ... But the way that they're guarding me, I think I have to."

Edwards also said it was "super hard" to stay engaged while being double-teamed and that he isn't sure what to do:

"Them doubling me, definitely it's like, 'Bro, what is going on?' I'm trying to figure it out ... I don't know what to do honestly, but it's not fun. I don't want to look like I'm not trying or not as good as I am, because I am, but I can't show it because I'm getting double-teamed.

"It's definitely frustrating to see these guys cooking us and I can't cook them."

When a player says that’s not how they want to play you know the defense is doing the right stuff :D

Booker got roasted for saying in regards to pickup games in the off-season. In fairness, who doubles during a pick-up game, but also who plays against Booker as a semi-Regular Joe even and doesn't double? lol. I hope they come with the same energy towards Edwards, because complaining teams double you and you don't know what to do and don't like it in an NBA game is insane. Also seems very likely teams will do it even more after this interview so congratulations Ant-Man... you played yourself.

Well last time he demanded a trade he got exactly what he wanted so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. He seems to know what he is doing. Don't worry I expect that in a couple years, we'll have a big enough sample size of Jimmy Butler trade demands to analyze his actions and determine if he has the right technique for getting where he wants to go.

Wolves tried doubling JT at least twice in the 2nd half and paid dearly for it lol.

Cool tidbit from NBA PR. Tonight would be the first time in almost 25 years that two teams with 9+ win streaks are facing each other. I want both Thunder and Knicks to lose, for the record.

And they thought Gobert was a good pick-up. Double teams all day when Rudy’s on the floor. :D

I know there are at least 2 or 3 GB threads about how Ant is better than JT but I'm resisting the urge to bump them haha.

People think this kid is a superstar and he just outed himself as not even knowing how to be a basic-ass #1 option.

PP got off easy. Instead of getting suspended, they extended him and elevated his role on the team. :D
