Teams attack Queta like the Celtics attack Trae Young, rookies and other guys who can't defend. He sucks.

I just don't get it.

This thread is already 3 pages long less than an hour after the Cs lost.

The win over the Magic thread was 2 pages long for 12 hours.

It's as simple as the players now have a big say on who will coach them.

KD and Kyrie, in Brooklyn, had Kenny Atkinson, but they wanted Steve Nash.

Doc Rivers has a championship ring because HOFers KG, Pierce, and Ray would listen to Doc.

Brad Stevens was a great coach, but JT said it was time for a new voice.

Nothing good happens when the players do not respect and listen to the coach.

Just ask Adrian Griffin.

Work on it

Sam missing a dunk when he was all alone sums it up.

Who the **** is silent?? I have made like 5 comments on Queta already. Still think he has talent. Nothing changes. Meantime Joe, your guy, even saw how Kornet was just standing down low affecting nothing but clean finishes for Atlanta.

Why are You so silent on Joe and his bad coaching.
At Least Queta contests way more and better than Luke

We have to be the most inconsistent team in the league. Seriously.

Disagree, we have some consistency in being dumb. Just some games our talent still overcomes.

Sky isn't falling but we're clearly not the team we were last year, all evidence considered. There are legitimate reasons to worry.

I'm with you on Queta.
Queta is the future.
But right now he just makes too many mistakes.

I'm not a Luke Kornet guy.
I just want what's best for the Cs and Luke has been playing well as of late.

Joe's coaching will only go as far as where the players take him.

If Jrue tried to score or held on to the ball, this would not have gone to overtime.
Joe didn't tell Jrue to pass the ball out of bounds.

JB also screwed up.
Joe gave JB the ball with 27 secs remaining and the Hawks up by 1 point.
But we all know how stupid JB was in that possession.

Again, not saying that Joe is a great coach, but right now he's good enough because the players respect him and they listen to him.

Fans wanted Joe to play Queta.
Joe played Queta.
Queta made mistakes at the wrong time.
Celtics ended up losing.
Now Celtic fans are angry because the Celts lost.

That's because Joe is playing chess and you're not interpreting it correctly.

Reason why Joe said that is to deflect blame.

Joe wants the fans and the critics to put the blame on him and not the players.

Right now fans are talking about what Joe said instead of talking about why Jrue, JB, and JT screwed up.

That's genius, actually.

Maybe that's why the guys love Joe.

Joe sacrifices himself for the players.

You have to call a spade a spade.

Right now the discussion should be about how Jrue and JB screwed up in regulation.

But fans are talking about the ridiculous thing that Joe said.

Deflect, deflect, deflect!

I mean his point is there’s adversity throughout the season and the team needs to work through it.

Seems like at the moment the team can’t consistently make shots.

I don’t know why everyone just expects a cakewalk of a season every year.

Bad stretches are always going to happen.

Repeating is damn hard too. A lot of good championship teams didn’t repeat. You become the hunted. You cop every teams best performances. Mentally it seems like a lot of teams defending their title find it hard to avoid going through the motions ag time.

Lakers of 2001 went from 67 wins in 2000 to 56 wins in 2001.

The regular season didn't matter as the Lakers still ended up repeating.

No way a team that looses twice to the Hawks in the same season can win an NBA championship. Unserious.

The Hawks always seem to give us problems and we make them look a lot better than they are.
